1. The Descent of Pegasis!
(04/05/09 - Japan)
Kenta is having fun beybattling against
several bladers in an arena to earn more Beypoints. However, he does not know he
is being watched by some menacing people. Outside, Ginga sees two kids running
to go see those battles, and he likes seeing them happy about Beyblade. When
Kenta's matches are over, his two friends congratulate him and discuss about the
type of beyblade they prefer; one says he is all about attacks, but Kenta tells
him he is content with his (Flame) Sagittario's survival abilities. They have to
cut the conversation short though because they come to realise that the sun is
already setting. Then, Kenta is ambushed by Benkei and two other members of the
Face Hunters while running towards his house. They force him to battle Benkei so
they can get more points and Kenta, being at least half anybody's size, is very
scared and can only reluctantly shoot his beyblade. Benkei's blade soon starts
hitting it from all sides and it seems Kenta is about to lose, yet a blue top
interfers: Storm Pegasis 105RF. Unimpressed, the Face Hunters challenge Ginga to
a beybattle, 5 vs. 1. Kenta worries about Ginga's chances, but the latter
beyblader reassures him and easily wins the battle with his Metal Wheel.
Strangely, Benkei's fallen beyblade manages to hit him between his legs. (During
the first part of Kenta's confrontation with Benkei and his friends, Ginga was
sleeping.) The small blader is very grateful for what Ginga did and he follows
him to try to know him better. Unexpectedly, as they are walking down a path
situated on a hill, Ginga slides down on the grass and looks up at the sky. At
Kenta's surprise, he invites him to lay down beside him so they can watch the
stars. There, they have an interesting discussion on what matters in Beyblade:
the Beyheart. After Ginga's encouraging speech, Kenta still has a question to
ask him, but he discovers that the other beyblader plainly fell asleep in mere
seconds beside him. In the morning, Ginga wakes up to see that he is surrounded
by the Face Hunters; they escort him to their base, an old construction site.
Naturally, Kenta looks all over the city when he finds out that his hero
disappeared; he finally saw a group of Face Hunters entering a building, so he
followed them. Benkei and the 100 other evil beybladers try to scare Ginga;
eventually they launch their beyblades at him. While they are flying around
everywhere, Ginga however remains calm even though he hears Kenta's words of
shock. One minute later, he finally decides to end this by summoning all his
inner energy into his beyblade. Storm Pegasis circles around him and creates a
tornado that sends all the enemy blades flying backwards. Of course, Benkei also
ends up hurt in the same place as before while trying to run away. Kenta
congratulates Ginga for his win. Kyouya, who had been watching from his laid
back position on an elevated metal bar, called out to Ginga and told him that he
might not be able to defeat his Rock Leone 145WB.
2. Leone's Fangs! (04/12/09 - Japan)
While Ginga is showing off his Storm
Pegasis 105RF in a Beyblade shop where he is noticed by a curious Madoka, Kyouya
makes his Face Hunters fight him so he can perfect his ability to use the wind
during beybattles. Later, Ginga and Kenta are still laying on the grass when
Madoka surprises Ginga by staring intently at his beyblade. Immediately, she
takes out a small computer that quickly analyzes the spinning top. However, she
wishes to further observe it, so Kenta and Ginga follow her to a store called
"B-Pit", which Madoka appears to own. They go on its lower level and
Madoka asks Ginga for his Storm Pegasis. At first, he is reluctant to lend it to
her. She takes more data about it and commences a thorough cleaning process.
Both Kenta and Ginga are impressed by the tools she uses with precision. Ginga
then ends up sleeping on a couch there while she is still cleaning; he observes
her meticulous work for a while, before completely falling asleep. Madoka
finishes that only in the morning. In the streets, Kenta is running with his
Sagittario to get it polished too, yet one Face Hunter makes him trip with his
leg. Benkei catches Flame Sagittario and they run away with it. Of course, Ginga
is angry when he learns about the situation and they run, Madoka following them,
to the tower by the sea where the Face Hunters are waiting. At first, Ginga does
not desire to fight, but he is given no choice when Benkei holds out Kenta's
Flame Sagittario above the ground meters below, where it would break on impact.
At the beginning of the battle against Kyouya, Ginga thinks he can still win by
doing his normal attacks, however there is a strange shield-like force around
Rock Leone 145WB. Soon, Kyouya makes it spin so much that it creates a tornado
with the strong wind already present at the top of the white tower. Ginga's
Storm Pegasis cannot even get close to Rock Leone. However, his scarf will be
sent flying away above their heads, and seeing it fall back down seconds later
will make an idea spark within him : he makes Storm Pegasis head to Rock Leone
again and, the wind being so strong, the blade is immediately sent upwards.
Kyouya obviously thinks he has won against Ginga, and Kenta even apologises to
his hero for making him lose, but Ginga is still confident, for Storm Pegasis
105RF comes down moments after and it easily knocks Rock Leone 145WB out of the
stadium. Kyouya's frustration makes him punch the ground and fall to his knees.
Afterwards, Madoka forces Ginga to say sorry to his beyblade for using it in
that manner right after it was cleaned. At the Face Hunters' hideout, while
Kyouya was kicking wooden boxes to release his anger, a mysterious person
wearing glasses shows up, offering to help him defeat Ginga.
3. Wolf's Ambition! (04/19/09 - Japan)
The Face Hunters are being taken by a
helicopter to a very remote, smoggy area made of rocks. As they arrive, they
properly meet Daidouji, who ends up offending Kyouya. The two challenge each
other with their Dark Wolf DF145FS and Rock Leone 145WB. Kyouya observes that a
storm is coming and that there are strong winds in the air, so he thinks he will
have the upper hand by using those to create a tornado. However, even though
Dark Wolf cannot approach Rock Leone that much at first, it simply dodges that
tornado. Even after it has completely destroyed the big rock Dark Wolf was
spinning on, Daidouji remains very calm and confident. He compares Kyouya's
Leone to a lion sitting obediently in a cage. Of course, this annoys Kyouya, who
makes his beyblade build an even stronger tower of wind. Daidouji finally
decides to act, after playing with Rock Leone. He calls for his special attack:
Darkness Howling Blazer! Dark Wolf, the minute it comes in contact with the
tornado, easily shatters the winds and strikes the other beyblade. Kyouya,
defeated, falls to his knees. The fact that their powerful leader lost to this
newcomer who takes the time to take a hairbrush out at odd moments to rearrange
his hair shocks them grandly. Within himself, Benkei wishes he could become
stronger...!
Back in the city, young beybladers start acknowledging the fact that their
battles have become boring. Even Kenta has trouble focusing in Ginga's abscence.
Therefore, he goes to meet him down by the river and challenges him to a
beybattle. At first, Ginga is impressed by Flame Sagittario C145S' strength.
However, he plays the same trick that he had done to Kyouya: he let the other
beyblade hit his Storm Pegasis 105RF and had him believe he had made a
"ring out", but Storm Pegasis just fell back to perform the Shooting
Star Attack. After seeing that he was still not good enough, Kenta asks Ginga to
train him and the other bladers in the city.
4. Rush! Bull's Power! (04/26/09 - Japan)
Ginga excitedly buys hamburgers from a shop
and tells everybody about his love for them, even a kid who was just standing by
the street. When Kenta and the other beybladers at the B-Pit ignore him too, he
just shoves it in his mouth. In another section of the city though, Benkei is
frustrated that he cannot beat anybody anymore : he remembers the fight he
recently had against Kyouya. The latter completely tore him to shreds,
litterally. Even when Benkei stood back up and prepared for battle, the leader
of the Face Hunters easily beat him with his Rock Leone. After that, Kyouya quit
the Face Hunters to go accept Daidouji's offer to help him become stronger.
Almost surprisingly, Daidouji shows up to the old Face Hunters' hideout. He told
Benkei that Kyouya was training in a facility full of advanced equipment. Of
course, this angered Benkei again because he could still not beat Ginga by
himself, so Daidouji offered him a new beyblade: Dark Bull H145SD. Benkei took
it from Daidouji's hand slowly and he felt the blade's power. He immediately
started training in an intense way; once the rest of the Face Hunters, who had
been battling him for some time, were too tired and helpless against Benkei's
new beyblade to keep fighting, Benkei figured it was time to confront Ginga.
Consequently, when the latter beyblader, Kenta and Madoka were walking in that
area, Ginga noticed a red beyblade and knew he had to follow it into the
building. There, he met a very confident Benkei, while Madoka and Kenta went to
hide behind boxes. Ginga and Benkei started battling and, in the end, Benkei's
brute force, even mixed with Dark Bull, could not defeat Ginga. However, the red
beyblade was sent crashing everywhere into the wood boxes and created a crater
in the floor. All the debris fell dangerously on the two beybladers, but Benkei
ended up shielding Ginga from the wood parts. For a moment, Benkei did not seem
to react, but once he started moving again, Ginga offered him his hand to help
him up. Stubborn, Benkei snorted and walked away: he went to a restaurant to eat
several hamburgers, and ended up biting on his hands from shoving them in his
mouth too much.
5. The Cancer of Revenge! (05/03/09 - Japan)
Benkei is doing some training in the forest
because he is still mad that Kyouya can defeat several beyblades very easily. He
is however exhausted, so his Dark Bull does almost no damage to the tree he kept
launching at anymore. The thought of Kyouya's strength still helps him find a
new source of power and he is able to cut trees with ease; then, he attaches
himself to one tree and runs with it behind him as a weight on the beach. At
some point, he notices that a lot of crabs are on the sand in front of him, and
he sees that one odd guy is luring them towards him. Back in the city, Madoka
sells beyblades to young kids, but two other bladers run in the B-Pit crying.
They explain to her that a creepy man broke their beyblades and that he is
terrifying everybody at the moment. Immediately, Madoka, Ginga and Kenta run out
to look for that strange man and they end up separated. Kenta meets up right as
his friend's beyblade was destroyed by Tetsuya, the weird blader. Seeing his
friend sad, Kenta challenges Tetsuya; he unfortunately loses the battle because
the latter had thrown a pebble at his Flame Sagittario, which knocked it off
balance. Ginga's Storm Pegasis comes to its rescue though, otherwise Tetsuya's
Mad Cancer would have smashed into Flame Sagittario even after it had stopped
spinning. Tetsuya finally introduces himself properly to the other bladers and
wants to fight against Ginga, but the latter declines his offer. However,
Tetsuya tells him that he will only tell them where he kidnapped Madoka if they
win a beybattle. Therefore, Kenta, his friends and Ginga follow him to the beach,
where a stadium in the shape of a crab was sculpted deep in the sand. Ginga
finds the stadium weird, but he engages in a battle against Tetsuya. Storm
Pegasis 105RF beats Mad Cancer CH120FS in a matter of seconds, which totally
surprises Tetsuya. Although he has lost, he still does not want to admit defeat:
as the reward he promised Ginga, he tells him that Madoka is in Japan. This was
obviously not the answer anybody expected, but Ginga has no choice but to fight
Tetsuya again. This time, Tetsuya wistles and crabs come out from triangular
holes in the stadium's walls. Those crabs somehow produce bubles and this
incomodates Storm Pegasis in its movements since it has little space left to
spin normally. Tetsuya makes Ginga lose his focus and Storm Pegasis slips on the
bubles; Mad Cancer hits it and a crab catches it to hold it in place. Everybody
is angry at Tetsuya because he cheats, but he claims that it was simply a battle
accident. Then, Tetsuya explains what caused him to become the way he is: he was
beyblading with a friend in the snow and they had a lot of fun; he looked up to
Ichizen, his blond friend. However, an imposing black boy named Taraba came up
and he was looking for Ichizen. Tetsuya was shocked when his friend went to hide
behind him, trembling. In an act of courage, he told Taraba that he was Ichizen
instead and they got ready to beybattle. Tetsuya lost miserably; his Mad Cancer
was disfigured and he sadly noticed that his friend had abandoned him. That was
when he decided to 'affiliate' himself with crabs: he took his revenge against
Taraba and started destroying other people's blades too. He also beat Ichizen
and had his crabs attack him personally. Ginga and the others are shocked by his
story, but the two beybladers start a real battle to determine the winner. Mad
Cancer reveals a new trick: it changes height to an incredible extent. Tetsuya
makes the crabs in the sand throw some of it into the stadium, which becomes a
disadvantage for Storm Pegasis. Kenta however notices that Mad Cancer's rotation
in the sand creates a typhoon and he tells Ginga about the resemblance between
this match and the one he had with Kyouya. Ginga has Storm Pegasis create a
tornado of its own and, with a special attack, makes all the sand fly away from
the stadium. Tetsuya, despite receiving a lot of mud on his head, does not
appear to be nervous. Next, Madoka arrives with Benkei; at first, Kenta is wary
of Benkei, but Madoka explains the he was the one who saved her from the trap
Tetsuya had placed her in: it was a rectangular hole with several crabs
surrounding it. Everybody is impressed that Benkei helped her. But Benkei's
sudden yell to defeat Tetsuya encourages Ginga to end the battle. Mad Cancer is
sent flying out of the stadium. Madoka picks it up and offers it back to Tetsuya
as a sign of forgiveness, hoping he will change. Tetsuya takes it... and runs
away quickly, telling them they are all idiots. Meanwhile, Benkei is still angry
that he is not stronger.
6. Aquario's Challenge (05/10/09 - Japan)
The Face Hunters and Benkei are blocking a
mysterious girl's way to the city. The five ordinary Face Hunters engage a
battle with her, but she easily defeats all of their beyblades, which surprises
Benkei. She asks them to get out of her way so she can pass. Benkei however
stops her and asks the girl, Hikaru, what beyblade she is using, and she reveals
Wind Aquario 100CB. Benkei becomes interested in the fact that she seems to have
good beyblading skills, so he tells her that, should she want a real challenge,
she has to face a beyblader called Hagane Ginga. This proposition piques her
interest, even though she still seems indifferent. Hikaru goes to practice in
the ruins of a Beyblade Roman arena. Her Wind Aquario destroys all the blocks of
rock in its way, and it uses its shocking speed to almost disappear during an
instant. While training, she recalls the event that contributed to making her a
cold beyblader: when she was quite younger, she was thoroughly beaten by a boy
in a beybattle -it made her cry-; she went to see her mother in her bed to tell
her about the match; Hikaru's mother started telling her that she should never
give up. In the city, every beyblader is competing in a small tournament. In the
end, Ginga and Kenta face each other, yet just as they were about to pull the
winder of their launcher, Ginga has an odd 'burnout' reaction: smoke comes out
of his face from various places, and he simply collapses. Madoka and Kenta take
him on an upper story of the B-Pit building, where they install him in a bed.
His body temperature is quite high. Madoka tells him more about the condition he
might have, and Ginga automatically gets scared. Later, Kenta shows Ginga how
many points he has recorded on his Beypointer, which makes the older boy proud.
Just as Ginga had gotten up, Madoka enters the chamber with a cake she cooked.
She does not want Ginga to leave yet; she thinks he just does not want to eat
the cake she made just for him, but he quickly begs her to let him eat it. All
three of them love its taste. Meanwhile, Kenta wishes to improve his skills with
his Flame Sagittario C145S, therefore he talks to Madoka about it. He wants to
have a special attack, just like Ginga and Kyouya. She analyses his beyblade and
notices that his Track has a lot of potential because of the three 'wings'. This
news makes Kenta happy and he goes to practice down by the river, with a target
painted on a rock. Unfortunately for him, his Flame Sagittario barely does
damage to it. Benkei shows up and tells him to forward a message: another
beyblader, Hikaru, wants to challenge Ginga Hagane. Kenta takes that information
but, on the day of the challenge, the person who shows up before Hikaru in the
Beyblade arena is Kenta, who lies by saying he is in fact Hagane Ginga. Since
Hikaru has no idea what Ginga looks like, she simply accepts to battle him. Even
though Kenta does his best to counter-attack and to figure out Wind Aquario's
very fast moves, Hikaru definitely has the upper hand in this fight: at the end
of the match, she finishes him off with a powerful waterfall attack. Upset,
Kenta also notices that he lost 50 points on his Beypointer. He really wants to
get them back at all cost, so he challenges Hikaru in a beybattle again. She
accepts the challenge, unfazed, and she completely rips all of Kenta's points
away from him, to the point where his Beypointer shows a flashing '0'. Hikaru
leaves Kenta crying at his loss. However, during the match, Benkei had been
watching intently, at first shocked that Kenta would take Ginga's place in a
match. Yet, the more the battle went on, the more he realised that he had just
seriously upset the small boy and, thinking back at his sad defeat against
Kyouya, he felt compassion for Kenta. At the end of the beybattle, he went up to
him, with the intention to help him get stronger in order to regain all his
Beypoints from Hikaru.
7. The sure kill spinning technique! Sagittario!
(05/17/09 - Japan)
After his defeat at the hands of Hikaru,
Kenta is left alone with Benkei, who suddenly gets very mad, while still wishing
to help the younger beyblader. To supposedly aid him, he takes him off the
ground by grabbing the front of his shirt, and he throws him down. However,
Kenta understands that Benkei just wants to help him, so he accepts to do as he
says. First, he is told to go running around the town. On his way, he encounters
Madoka and Ginga, and mocks them because he thinks they are starting to be a
couple. Both of the other two do not appear to be bothered by that. They ask him
why he had been running though, but he refuses to tell them his reasons, which
leads Ginga and Madoka to follow him back to the ruins on top of the hill. There,
they hide behind some pillars to spy on Benkei and Kenta. They witness very
uncommon procedures on Benkei's part to train Kenta: he pushes the latter around
everywhere, he throws him metres above his head, he trains him intensively with
actual professional equipment, etc. Somehow though, Kenta and him really develop
a strong brotherly relationship and they like to challenge each other. This
really surprises Ginga and Madoka. Meanwhile, Tetsuya had been hiding under his
cloak, spying on Benkei and Kenta. He has a twisted idea: he tries to sneak over
to Hikaru, but she easily notices him. He tells her that Benkei is now training
the one she thinks if 'Hagane Ginga'. This thought makes her lose the small
trust she had for Benkei. Later, she meets him and tells the Bull blader that he
better prepare 'Ginga', because she challenges him again, confident that she
will still win. The confrontation shocks Benkei, but he knows that he has to
stay with Kenta, because he knows what it feels like to be thoroughly defeated.
Tetsuya is happy to see that he has gotten people in trouble. During the
following day, Benkei and Kenta meet up in front of the tournament building.
Madoka comes in during one of their 'brotherly craziness'; Benkei immediately
goes to hide behind a tree. Somehow, his big form is so well hidden that not
only does Madoka not see him, but a dog also comes to urinate on him. Madoka
offers Kenta a Metal Face to improve his stamina abilities. Kenta is extremely
grateful for her gift and, once she has left, he has regained confidence and is
ready to go challenge Hikaru with Benkei. On their way though, Tetsuya comes out
of hiding and blocks them by doing very odd moves. Knowing that time is quickly
slipping by, Benkei angrily challenges Tetsuya to a beybattle in order to keep
him busy while Kenta runs to the meeting
point.
Both start beyblading and it quickly ends in a draw. Hikaru now understands
that Kenta is a real enemy, and she really does not want to lose against him as
she did against other boys when she was younger. Another battle begins and
Hikaru immediately uses her blade's duplicating technique because she knows that
this is what beat Kenta last time. However, with his new Metal Face and since he
had acknowledged after the tie that he needed to use his Track's wings, Kenta
defeats her Wind Aquario with his special attack, Flame Claw! All the support he
got from his friends Ginga, Madoka and Benkei lead him to victory. Benkei, who
had finished beybattling Tetsuya's Mad Cancer, runs to Kenta and repeatedly
lightly throws him up in the air and they both express their happiness that
Kenta has won. However, Benkei is still determined to defeat Ginga Hagane. As he
is leaving the city, he meets the other Face Hunters who tell him that Kyouya
would never accept to see anybody help a shrimp like Kenta; he should be banned
from the group. Of course, it was Tetsuya who reported Benkei's actions to them,
and he is very glad to bring big trouble to other people.
8. Merci's Dangerous Trap (05/24/09 - Japan)
Benkei is now out of the Face Hunters, so
he stays with Ginga, Kenta and Madoka. The latter gives him his beyblade, which
she had thoroughly cleaned. Benkei does not like being perceived as a 'kind'
person though, so he keeps growling. However, when Madoka shows him some food
she prepared, he is immediately drooling. Just as he is about to take a piece of
meat though, Ginga arrives and eats all of it in one shot, which upsets Benkei.
They then talk about Kyouya, and Ginga starts being suspicious, wondering where
he went or what he is doing. In any case, Osamu, Akira and Takashi, Kenta's
friends, enter the B-Pit and learn, from Kenta, that Benkei helped him win an
important beybattle; they instantly ask him to help them get better. Although he
is reluctant to act 'nicely' at first, Benkei accepts and they all go down by
the river. He tells them to repeat after him, so they all start screaming
Benkei's typical angry battle cries. Meanwhile, Ginga is still thinking about
Kyouya's disappearance. Suddenly, he gets up and goes to the washroom, one which
had never really been there before. Just a he steps into the cabine, he finds it
odd, and there actually is a camera watching him. After he is done, the toilet
vanishes into the floor and the wall in front of him opens to reveal a
beystadium as well as cameras and a television screen. Outside, the
improvised-bathroom-truck is moving, bringing Ginga to an unknown location. Then,
a computer system called Merci starts talking to Ginga as if he were part of a
special, exciting TV show where he has to demonstrate his skills to respond to a
challenge; in fact, it is one of Daidouji's traps to get more data on Ginga.
Incredulously, the latter beyblader believes this scenario with almost no
hesitation. The interior of the truck often transforms to make him run on a mill,
for instance. Afterwards, the real challenge begins: several stages compose this
'game', and each of them is slightly harder than the previous one. At first,
three beyblades (one red, another blue and a last blade white) are shot in the
stadium; Ginga easily sends them out of it. At a later stage, a black,
stamina-type blade is launched; it stays in the middle while Storm Pegasis
quickly spins on the walls around it, however the center starts being more and
more elevated, to a point where Ginga has to make his beyblade fly in the air to
knock the other blade out. Finally, the last stage of the challenge arrives: a
ridiculously huge beyblade is sent spinning, so Storm Pegasis obviously has a
lot of difficulty affecting it in any way. Ginga quickly figures out that he
needs to destabilize it to win, therefore he throws his beyblade on top of it
and he makes it put more weight on certain angles, effectively making the blade
lose balance. Ginga has won; he salutes everybody who is watching the program.
To itself, Merci smirks at the amount of data it now has for Daidouji's studies.
Swiftly, Ginga is thrown out of the truck, which had just come back to the
riverside. Ginga, confused, asks Madoka and Kenta if they had been watching him
on the television; his suspicions increase when he realises there was no TV
show.
Meanwhile, Kyouya is on a plane with Daidouji, complaining that his training
program has not proven to be good. Daidouji tells him that everything he trained
for was to help him defeat Ginga Hagane; now, he should nearly be a perfect
blader. He tells Kyouya that they will drop him in the Wolf Canyon and that he
has to climb back up to the normal ground level; afterwards, he should be ready
to fight his true enemy: Ginga. Encouraged to do this adventure, Kyouya falls
with a parachute. He lands close to the bottom of the canyon, but he quickly
starts the ascension of the rock walls. His grip often slips and he hits some
rocky platforms several times, yet he keeps trying to go up. During a fall, he
realises that he needs to grip the platform above him, so he takes out his
Beylauncher and throws the Launcher Grip and main part of the launcher onto it
and he climbs back, using the string. After having reached the platform
relatively safely because of his determination to surpass Ginga, Kyouya is met
with a clan of angry wolves. He is stuck between them and the canyon's dangerous
emptiness; he then thinks about launching his Rock Leone 145WB once he feels the
wind blow around him. However, even the tornado his beyblade creates does not
scare the animals. He is desparate, but he soon realizes that his only solution
is to give off an intimidating aura: his eyes burn with his soul. The wolves
calm down, and he has become the 'king' of the canyon when Daidouji comes to
pick him up again hours after.
9. Leone's Counterattack (05/31/09 - Japan)
Tetsuya has somehow taken the role of the
leader/entertainer of the Face Hunters, or at least he is trying to. However,
Kyouya soon appears at the entrance of the warehouse, looking completely cold,
emotionless. Immediately, the Face Hunters leave Tetsuya, who falls down the
mountain of boxes he had been sitting on, to go welcome their real leader back.
Kyouya remains indifferent though. Tetsuya tries to get credit for the role he
just gave himself and tells Kyouya about Benkei and all the things he did. He
challenges him to a beybattle to determine who the leader is. At first, Kyouya
does not seem to care but he soon takes out his launcher and beyblade and they
count to the launch; however, Tetsuya launches very late on purpose. He set at
his beyblade at a big height, so it momentarily pushes Rock Leone back. Unphased,
Kyouya gets his blade to spin at the center of the area. Tetsuya falls into his
trap: Mad Cancer goes back to a normal height and moves straight toward Rock
Leone. Kyouya uses the wind again, and his attack is so powerful that Tetsuya
and the Face Hunters are sent flying; most of the building is destroyed too.
After having beaten Tetsuya, Kyouya announces the dissolution of the Face
Hunters, which shocks the five beybladers. Tetsuya finds that this is good news
though, probably because it means the team is all to himself. All of them turn
to him to look at the traitor fiercely. They chase him down around the city and
Benkei helps them stop him; they tie Tetsuya up. Then, Benkei learns from them
that Kyouya came and broke the Face Hunters group. Worried, the confusion he
feels about Kyouya's choice makes him zone out; as Akira, Ginga, Takashi and
Osamu were beyblading, he did not notice Kenta trying to make him focus by being
in his face. His very shocked reaction when he realises Kenta's presence and the
excuse he gives for leaving hastily makes Kenta doubt him, so he runs along with
him to try to get him to talk. Benkei is very stubborn though, therefore Kenta
is forced to challenge to a beybattle; if he wins, Benkei has to tell him what
is wrong. In a matter of seconds, Kenta wins. Benkei then talks about Kyouya's
decision and how he does not understand it. He later goes to the warehouse in
hopes of finding Kyouya. At first, he does not appear to be in the building, but
he eventually comes out of the shadows. The two battle, Kyouya to prove that the
Face Hunters are not worth his time anymore, Benkei to try to get him back.
Kyouya is extremely maniacal though: he keeps laughing crazily at the display of
the immense power he now possesses. Kenta, who had appeared just in time to save
Benkei's Dark Bull from a vicious attack (but he was almost crushed by pieces of
the ceiling himself), was not even able to defeat him with Benkei, and they soon
lay on the floor, beaten. Far from being back to a normal mentality, Kyouya
advances to step onto their two fallen beyblades, but Benkei rushes over and
protects them with his arms and body. This however does not stop Kyouya from
bringing his foot down on him and, in the end, Benkei lies unconscious while
Kenta cries and tries to get him to wake up.
In the city, Ginga notices that Hikaru had been watching beybladers play at the
B-Pit, so he runs after her, eventually catching up to her. He asks her if she
wants to join them, but she declines. Unhappy that she would have to go, he
suggests her to beybattle, and this obviously catches her attention. It is
however Ginga who wins by using his Shooting Star Attack and observing the
location of the real Wind Aquario 100HF/S among the illusions. Hikaru thinks it
is all over, yet she is very surprised when Ginga tells her she was a good
opponent. Perhaps she will not have to leave after all.
10. Fierce Fighting! Ginga VS Kyouya (06/07/09
- Japan)
Outside, the wind blows harshly across the
city darkened by the clouds. Madoka makes Ginga, who was busy taking care of his
Storm Pegasis, notice the weather, but they are interrupted by the sudden
opening of the front door. Through it comes Kenta, miserably dragging Benkei,s
unconscious body over him. Seeing as he was weakened by his last match too, he
collapses some mere steps into the B-Pit, letting the big body fall on him.
Ginga and Madoka bring Benkei up to the room where Ginga rested while he was
sick. Madoka places a wet cloth on his head. They worry about him, but he then
pronounces "Ginga... Hagane Ginga..." weakly. Benkei tells him about
Kyouya's actions, and he asks him, begs him to take their revenge on Kyouya.
Since he has the beyblader spirit, Ginga of course accepts and Benkei, satisfied,
collapses back on the bed. He seems dead; Madoka, Kenta and Ginga, who had been
holding his hand tightly, start crying at the loss of their new friend. Two
seconds later though, Benkei starts snoring in his sleep... Reassured that he is
still alive, the three friends set off to find Kyouya, who is waiting for them
at an open arena, where the wind continues its relentless attacks. Ginga and
Kyouya take place at each side of the Beystadium, while Madoka and Kenta go act
as the audience. The battle begins, and Kyouya quickly gains a big advantage due
to the wind and all the training he did. In his mansion, Daidouji finishes
eating supper, drinks his orange juice and orders his servant and butler to
bring him a small television gadget so he can watch the beybattle while it is
happening. He is satisfied of his work on Kyouya because he sees that Ginga
stands no chance at the moment: all his attacks fail due to the mighty winds and
the tornado Rock Leone has created. Even Ginga's Shooting Star Attack is
rendered useless. Kyouya gets more and more confidence. Ginga mentions Benkei's
cause, and he is unhappy when Kyouya mocks the ex-Face Hunter. However, whatever
he tries to do appears to vanish, and eventually Kyouya makes a bigger tornado.
At that point, Osamu stares at the tornado he sees in the distance from his
room; the strong winds batter Takashi's umbrella while he is walking in the
streets; Osamu observes the tornado from his seat on a train; and Hikaru notices
it too as she was about to drink a hot beverage. Instantly, she suspects that a
beybattle is going on. For Ginga though, the match seems to be getting farther
and farther away from his grasp; Rock Leone's hurricane engulfs his beyblade's
attacks before they reach their target. Kyouya then divides the tornado into
three smaller ones that are stronger together since they can cover more ground.
Next, just when Ginga's defeat was almost sealed, many kids appear in the
audience and they cheer him all, even Hikaru, the Face Hunters, Tetsuya and
Benkei, who healed quickly. To aid him too, Ginga hears a bizarre, high sound
around him; he notices that it is a sad cry, and that it comes from Rock Leone:
Kyouya's blade is crying because of all the things he makes it do! This, along
with all the cheering and his own beyspirit, fuel Ginga to keep going, even as
Kyouya reassembles the three small hurricanes together to form an even more
enormous tornado than before. Even though Storm Pegasis had started simply
bouncing off the small tornadoes as if it were getting accustomed to them, the
big hurricane is now totally out of Ginga's control and his beyblade gets stuck
in it as it spirals towards the sky. The hurricane vanishes when it reaches the
clouds and Storm Pegasis is nowhere to be seen. Kyouya laughs manically when he
realises he has won against his worst enemy, Ginga. The latter still seems
confident however, even though he is very serious. He tells Kyouya he does not
understand what a true beybattle is. From the depts of the sky, he calls forth
Storm Pegasis out of the Pegasus constellation to perform a new attack: Meteor
Shower Attack. The power coming from the descent of Storm Pegasis in the air
sends Rock Leone out of the stadium at Kyouya's feet. The defeated beyblader, in
a state of shock, recalls all the times he spent playing with it even as a kid
and how much he worked to get to the level he is at; the idea that he could
still lose after all that is one that he cannot absorb. More than that, he is
extremely shocked to see everybody applauding and cheering for them, for him
even if Ginga has the victory. Ginga tells him that is what every beyblader
should do. Right then, a helicopter arrives and out of it comes Daidouji,
holding his orange juice in an expensive cup as if it were wine. He applauds
Ginga's performance and acts with politeness towards him, but Ginga's reaction
is one of remembered hatred...
11. The hunt for Wolf! (06/14/09 - Japan)
As Daidouji comes out of the helicopter,
Ginga recalls part of the horrifying event that happened to him in the past: a
boy with a sick and twisted grin holding an extraordinarily powerful beyblade...
Ginga wants to launch at Daidouji, but he stops him and focuses on Kyouya. For
losing his match, he shoots his Dark Wolf at him while Kyouya does the same;
however, Rock Leone ends up on the ground completely scratched and barely good
anymore. Kyouya, on his end, receives Dark Wolf's overwhelming attack right on
him, in the shape of a big, red wolf. He is sent into the air and, after he has
crashed to the floor, he is unable to even reach to his defeated Rock Leone.
Benkei rushes to his side and helps him stand up. Ginga is even more furious at
Daidouji, so he runs after him even as he flies away into his helicopter. On the
way, Daidouji makes his Dark Wolf hit the sphere that was part of the stadium
structure, then he catches his beyblade from the helicopter. The dangerous metal
ball rolls towards Madoka and Kenta with increasing speed. Seeing them, Benkei
runs to stand in front of them to try and stop the sphere, yet they were all
saved by the ground, since the sphere dug a hole in its path and got stuck in
it. Benkei would have never succeeded in sheltering his friends. After
recovering from the shock, they notice that Ginga is missing, therefore they
start calling after him. Unfortunately, they are unable to find him, even with
Kenta's friends' help. Meanwhile, they installed Kyouya in a bed at the B-Pit:
his chest is covered with bandages. Benkei enters the room shortly after he
wakes up, and Benkei of course tries to make Kyouya realise that he is very
important to him. Outside, Kenta sees that Ginga is slowly walking towards the
building, so he walks inside the B-Pit to notify Madoka about his arrival.
Benkei, Madoka and Kenta go outside to meet Ginga. However, they notice that he
seems unhappy and, seconds later, he falls to his knees. They try to get to know
what is wrong with him, yet all he ends up saying is that he wants to see Kyouya.
Just before he enters the B-Pit though, they stop him and demand to know what is
bothering him so they can help him too. At first, he seems unwilling to let them
in on his occupations, but he finally accepts to talk about the horrific thing
that Daidouji and Ryuuga (as members of the Dark Nebula) did to him when he was
younger. While he did not tell the story in great details, those three names are
enough for Madoka to try to find something about them. However, her researches
fail, and Kyouya is not in the building anymore: he made his bed slightly, then
left. In truth, he had been hiding behind the corner of the B-Pit as Benkei,
Madoka and Kenta met Ginga again. He listened, but he did not appear interested
in Ginga's quest for revenge. However, he would still be a very important asset
to them because he knows where Daidouji's mansion is, and that is why Ginga had
come back so upset: he could of course not follow Daidouji's helicopter, so he
simply lost him at some point, even though he was determined to find him at all
costs. Therefore, Kenta and his friends search all over the city for him and
they ask every person if they know anything about Kyouya. Ginga and Madoka also
look around, and Benkei runs madly in search of his respected leader; he does
not even pay attention to Tetsuya, who was quietly sipping a cup of coffee:
Benkei runs straight into the table he was sitting at, sending him flying
through the air. At dusk, they all return empty-handed though. Just as they are
getting some despair, Kyouya speaks from his position on top of a sculpture, as
he observes the night. They ask him to help Ginga find Daidouji, but he runs
away quickly. Despite his disappearance, Madoka actually figures out something
and, with her portable computer, she is able to find out where the Dark Nebula
Castle is. Daidouji, who is already there, relaxes in a cool way, monitoring
with Merci the strange development of Ryuuga's sleep/coma: he rests inside an
egg-shaped machine which, at first glance, does not appear to be modifying
anything about him. Once Ginga, Madoka, Kenta and Benkei arrive at his mansion,
he simply tells Merci what to do while combing his hair again and drinking some
orange juice. Some odd canons come out of the castle and launch multiple Light
Wheel beyblades at the bladers. Everybody is able to defeat some of them (Kenta
even saves Madoka from several attacks), but there are just too many blades
launched at them. Benkei and Ginga decide to concentrate on destroying the huge
metallic door, yet Benkei's Bull Upper attack is unable to break it open.
Ginga's Storm Pegasis then uses Dark Bull to fly into the air, and just as Ginga
is making his Pegasis Shooting Star Attack, a myriad of small helicopters are
sent out of the building to shoot beyblades at Storm Pegasis, effectively
knocking it back to the ground. Seeing his new 'friends' overpowered, Kyouya
comes out of the forest's shadows and launches his Rock Leone 145WB.
Immediately, he creates his triple tornado attack and succeeds in defeating a
lot of Light Wheel beyblades. Ginga, Benkei and Kenta decide to use one his
tornadoes to destroy the door: each of their beyblades spins around the tornado
and, together, they make an ultimate attack called "Shooting Star Flame
Claw Attack". They can then finally enter the castle. Inside his shell
though, Ryuuga stirs.
12. Infiltration! The Dark Nebula Castle
(06/21/09 - Japan)
Ginga and his friends enter the Dark Nebula
Castle after destroying the front door. Shortly after, they come to a big, posh
room. They start hearing a voice from the speakers integrated to the small
camera that is installed near the ceiling. After a while, Ginga begins to recall
that voice from somewhere, and he instantly figures out that Merci is the one
speaking. The intelligent computer program mocks his previous naivety, like by
saying "Très bien!" again to fool him. Merci tells them that their
road will be one full of obstacles because Daidouji does not really want them to
step further into the building and discover more about Dark Nebula. They however
begin running down the multiple long halls. Strangely, they seem to never move
forward in their race, even if they are in fact running as fast as they can.
Benkei realises that they are on a giant treadmill. Everybody tries to run
faster in order to get off that trap, but eventually Madoka stumbles and hits
Kenta backwards; they both roll back to the beginning of the treadmill. Next,
Benkei trips as well but, having only just told Kyouya that he was keeping up
fine, he decides to grab the end of Kyouya's coat, so they both get dragged
backwards. Only Ginga is left on the treadmill, and Merci decides to increase
its speed; a beyblade-shooter machine also appears at the end of the treadmill
and launches several beyblades at Ginga, who quickly fetches his Storm Pegasis
105RF and launcher from his cases to hit the blades away from him. Ginga
definitely tries to run faster and faster, but eventually Benkei helps him by
launching his Dark Bull at the first end of the treadmill; the latter breaks
from the excessive wear and a 'hill' rolls towards Ginga; it carries him on safe
grounds and destroys the shooting machine. Kenta and the rest arrive at Ginga's
side, asking him if he is all right. After being reassured, they want to go
further down the halls, but Merci blocks them by suddenly installing thick walls
in their way. Eventually, they find a way; they come across an elevator and
decide to take it. To Ginga's dismay though, it only goes up to the third level
: Merci voluntarily stopped it there, which means Daidouji had been planning
their adventure in the castle all along. They still decide to advance though,
and, in another hall, they find themselves in front of a gigantic, black
beyblade. Merci blocks their way back with a wall again, so they have to fight
it. Fortunately, Ginga remembers the trick he used during Merci's false TV show
: he wants to make the beyblade lose balance so it can knock itself out. His
technique does not work though, therefore Kenta, Benkei and Kyouya join him in
his struggle. All of their blades get on one side of the opponent and, together,
they succeed in defeating it right before it was able to approach them too much.
In its failing balance, the black beyblade broke through part of the wall on the
left. Intrigued, they all enter the new room. Upon realising what it is, Kyouya
explains that he used to train there for the special program he was following.
At first sight, it only seems to contain a beyblade stadium incrusted in the
floor, however Madoka spots a computer : she runs to it excitedly and tries to
hack into Merci. Her operation appears to be working and Merci loses coherency
fast and its files turn from green to blue, signaling they have become 'good',
but it quickly regains some control and both begin fighting for it : Madoka has
to turn all the files, red and green, to blue. Meanwhile, Benkei and Kenta
stayed behind to fight some trainees that had suddenly appeared with beyblades
to stop them. It seems as if they are all fighting very hard, but in two
different dimensions and ways. The two bladers had almost forced Ginga and
Kyouya to get away and leave them behind, but they finally listened to them. On
their way, Kyouya and Ginga encounter two girls which are almost identical. The
newcomers shoot their blades to challenge the other two: they instantly surpass
Storm Pegasis and Rock Leone because of their intense teamwork (for instance,
one beyblade gets on top of the other and, as the other comes into contact with
the opponent, the top one bounces on the opposing blade, hitting it from above;
also, another of their tactics is that one blade hits the opponent and the other
one, which had been 'hiding' behind it, jumps in the air to strike the other
spinning top). Seeing that they would have to work a lot to beat the twins,
Kyouya tells Ginga to move forward; he will stay there to deal with them. After
some time, Kyouya finally uses his wind to defeat them. Ginga reaches Daidouji's
dining room meanwhile, where Daidouji is waiting for him seated at the end of
the long table, with a cup of orange juice. They start talking about L Drago and
how Ginga is determined to face it again. However, Daidouji plays a trick on
Ginga and tries to get him to realise that if he joined Dark Nebula, he would
get a lot more power in the end. Ginga, recalling the death of his father at the
hands of Ryuuga and Dark Nebula, strictly refuses Daidouji's 'offer'. An intense
beybattle begins and, while Daidouji appears to be able to counter even Ginga's
famous Shooting Star Attack, the latter swiftly grabs the victory because of his
Bey Soul. Just as the battle comes to an end, Ryuuga, who had been stirring
during Daidouji and Ginga's conversation, clutching his Lightning L Drago,
definitely wakes up and a strange dark purple aura that had been surrounding him
in his artificial 'egg' shoots up towards the sky and destroys most of the
building, especially the ceiling of the dining room. After recovering from the
shock of the unnatural earthquake, Ginga looks up at the top of one of the four
walls, and sees Ryuuga. The latter mocks him, making Ginga even more
furious.
13. L Drago, The Awakening (06/28/09 - Japan)
Ryuuga and Ginga are still facing each
other; Ginga with hatred, Ryuuga with a distinct and cynical confidence in his
power and that of his Lightning L Drago. While those two look the other
intently, Daidouji tells Benkei, Kyouya, Kenta and Madoka, who all had just
arrived on the rooftop, about Ryuuga's beyblade and its phenomenal power. In the
past, only the greatest have owned L Drago and all were feared. One of the
ancestors even looked like Moses and, with L Drago, it was able to divide a mass
of water in two to create a passageway. After his explanation, Daidouji orders
Merci to reveal the gigantic stadium-platform that had been built seemingly only
for this kind of battle, and which was previously hidden in the ocean right next
to the Dark Nebula Castle. A flat kind of bridge is produced in order to let
them onto the platform, but Ryuuga simply jumps from his place atop one of the
remaining walls of the highest room in the castle, and lands safely near the
stadium. Ginga hurries to the other side and they both launch their blades.
Immediately, it is clear that Lightning L Drago surpasses Storm Pegasis. Anytime
the latter hits the opponent, it gets sent into the air. At the same time, Ginga
is pushed back to the ground two or three times due to the purple shockwave that
L Drago emits everytime there is an impact. Ginga does not give up though,
because he is determined to avenge his father. Ginga's friends have trouble
understanding what makes Ryuuga's beyblade so strong, so Daidouji explains that
it is due to the fact that L Drago is a left-spin blade. Benkei is confused by
the concept of having two beyblades with different spin rotations in the same
battle, however. After one particular clash between the two blades made at the
perfect angle, Ginga uses his Shooting Star Attack to hopefully defeat L Drago,
but it joins Pegasis up in the sky and succeeds in rendering Ginga's beyblade
almost useless: Pegasis falls indifferently back to the stadium floor, as if it
had little life left in it. Everyone except Daidouji and Ryuuga are shocked by
the fact that Lightning L Drago was able to defend and attack so well against
Shooting Star Attack. Apparently, L Drago seems to gain more energy from every
collision, and of course from the few lightning bolts that sporadically cross
the sky. At one point, Ryuuga insults Ginga's father, which quickly changes him:
an angry red aura appears around him, and his eyes' brown coloration turns into
a bloody red glare. Ginga officially loses his mind then: he viciously and
furiously fights against Ryuuga and he only has his father's death in mind, but
mostly the fact that he wants to make Ryuuga pay dearly for his crime. While
Storm Pegasis attacks with as much fury as Ginga can fuel himself, L Drago still
holds its ground slightly. Kenta starts crying at the sight of his friend's near
insane anger: a few days ago, Ginga had been the one to prone the beyblade play
for mere fun, not really for competition, and even less for personal gain.
Seeing him so demented, so angry and dead-set on dealing with Ryuuga once and
for all that it pains him. He tries to call him back to reality, but Ginga
remains in his world where he only knows of Ryuusei's death by Ryuuga, and the
latter standing right in front of him, at the other side of the stadium, with
the beyblade that destroyed his life spinning between them along with Storm
Pegasis. Ginga attempts a series of furious attacks against Lightning L Drago
but, in the end, after a lightning hit the stadium to apparently give more
energy to L Drago, Ryuuga finishes toying with Pegasis and makes a special
attack where three Emperor Dragons (instead of only one, like before) cruelly
assault Storm Pegasis. Once everything ends and that the blinding light from the
attack vanished, Storm Pegasis is incrusted into the crushed part of the stadium
floor. Shocked beyond belief that he could lose and not be able to avenge his
father's death, Ginga falls to his hands and knees. Ryuuga soon leaves, telling
Daidouji that they have to prepare for the Battle Bladers tournament; Daidouji
hurriedly agrees, almost bowing before Ryuuga. Both leave the rooftop, and Merci
had stopped working after one of the lightnings hit the stadium. Kenta, Kyouya,
Benkei and Madoka try to make Ginga feel better, but he begins to cry, despair
in his powerlessness clear in his defeated cry.
14. Memories of Ryuusei (07/05/09 - Japan)
Ginga has a nightmare: he is fighting
Ryuuga again, but he is still as powerless as before, and he has to watch as his
Pegasis gets completely annihilated by Lightning L Drago. He wakes up with a
start, hand extended towards the window through which the sun is shining, as if
to reach desperately for the remains of Pegasis. After a few seconds, he calms
down and stares at the table beside him; he grabs Pegasis and lays back down on
the couch to try to sleep some more. In the morning, Madoka, Kenta and Benkei
notice that Ginga has not even eaten the triple-beef burger and fries that were
prepared for him. Together, they recall the latest events and reckon that Ginga
is not the same anymore: he does not seem half as lively as he used to be.
Unknown to them, Ginga listens to their conversation from the top of the stairs.
Finally, he decides to come down and make his presence known by yelling at
Benkei not to eat his burger, which he takes back from him. Then, Osamu, Takashi
and Akira enter the B-Pit and Osamu shows his beyblade to Ginga. He would like
to have a match with him because he thinks he stands a better chance now that he
slightly improved his blade. With a weary smile, Ginga accepts his challenge.
However, as they pronounce the countdown to the match, Ginga has a flash of
Ryuuga in front of him, instead of seeing Osamu. This vision makes him extremely
nervous, which considerably weakens his launch. Osamu easily takes the win; his
friends hesitantly congratulate him, almost saying that he is better than Ginga,
but they are unable to believe Pegasis' performance. Benkei yells at them before
they got to talk further, so they hurry outside. Ginga picks up his beyblade and
acts as if nothing important had happened, but Kenta obviously saw through his
fake joy and he tries to get his friend to talk, yet he ends up leaving. Kyouya
appears, leaning on a wall; he says Ginga needs time on his own. Kenta decides
to follow him to the riverside anyway, and he succeeds in getting him to open up
by expressing how he hates seeing Ginga so helpless, and also almost insane,
like at the end of his battle against Ryuuga. Not too reluctantly, Ginga tells his story:
On a beautiful day in his home village named Koma, Ginga wakes up to find that
his father is not in the other bed beside his own. He gets up, dresses up, and
walks out of the small house to the river nearby; he splashes some water on his
face, then walks around the village to find his father. He asks a man who sells
fish, as well as some kids who are playing Beyblade if they have seen him. Both
their answers lead him to the forest, where he finally meets his father.
However, a bear is tackling him and both are more or less wrestling, since
Ryuusei simply smiles at his son, as if there was nothing wrong with the
situation. As a matter of fact, he takes his launcher and blade out and destroys
the branch that was stuck in the bear's back, and the latter walks away, not
threatening at all anymore. Ryuusei gets back to the village with his son, where
they both start beyblading. Ryuusei gives Storm Pegasis to Ginga while he uses a
random bey, yet he still wins the game. However, they had fun battling, and
Ryuusei reminds his son that this is all that matters in a match. Later, Ginga's
father takes him to the ceremony they have to the Pegasis. At first, all of the
villagers are just standing in front of the mountain dedicated to it but, upon
their arrival, Ryuusei launches Storm Pegasis forward and it lights up all the
torches atop the pillars that lead to the sanctuary inside the mountain, which
is also a volcano. Storm Pegasis finishes its path by going up into the sky and,
coincidentally, the Pegasus constellation becomes more visible. Everybody is
overwhelmed by all of this. Shortly after though, a helicopter flies past them
and lands right outside the entrance to the volcano. Ryuusei immediately knows
that those invaders are dangerous, therefore he runs towards the mountain as
well. Inside, Ryuuga and Daidouji avoid all the traps set up against eventual
intruders, such as arrows. Just beside the crystal that holds Lightning L Drago,
there is also a trap which could have impaled Ryuuga, but he swiftly avoids it
by sacrificing his white coat instead. Now in possession of the L Drago, Ryuuga
breaks the crystal single-handedly while Ryuusei appears to attempt to stop
them. At first, L Drago's power seems to be too much for the white-haired
beyblader to handle, but he soon gets addicted to its immense power. He shoots
it onto one of the high rocks that slightly pave the lava underneath them.
Lightning L Drago sculpts the rock to make a beystadium, and Ryuusei's Storm
Pegasis meets it there. Both start a tough battle during which Ryuuga appears to
struggle with his new power still, but they quickly embrace each other and he
makes a blinding attack that leaves Ryuusei lying on the ground, too weak to be
capable to get back up. Ryuusei steps onto his rock, bends down, and rips off
his Pegasis bandana, which he uses to clean his new blade. While Ryuusei tries
to stop him from leaving with Lightning L Drago, Ryuuga throws the bandana
before him, yet Ginga's father is still unable to even pick it up. As rocks fall
from the roof of the volcano, Daidouji and Ryuuga exit with L Drago, Daidouji
having to support the other blader with an arm around his shoulder. Ginga, who
had been watching the whole battle and who can only stand on his own rock,
screams with despair at his father, torn between the urgency of an exit and
helping him. Unfortunately, there is no way Ryuusei could jump to safety, so all
he does is send Storm Pegasis to Ginga, officially giving it to him. Ginga sadly
watches his father reassuring him with a thumb up that everything is OK, while
rocks keep falling, eventually forcing Ginga out of the mountain. Outside, he
slides down to sit, resting his back against the volcano. As soon as the
situation sinks in, he screams "dad", having just lost his only other
family member.
Back in the city, Kenta is crying from hearing this tragedy, and he understands
why he hates Ryuuga. However, they both agree to try to have fun anyway, but
they will definitely try to make Ryuuga pay for all he has done soon.
15. The Mysterious Hyouma (07/12/09 - Japan)
Kenta enters the B-Pit and tells Madoka,
Benkei and Kyouya about a letter Ginga left them: in this note, Ginga thanks
them for what they have done to him, but he has to leave for his village now; he
apologizes for that. The four friends are not ready to just let him go: they
take the train to follow him. Kyouya asks the manager at the train station if he
saw Ginga, which leads them towards a vast forest. Some minutes later, they
stopped by a small lake where Madoka bathed her feet. Somehow, in his innocent
happiness, Kenta sprang his ankle... After a good walk where they had to go at
Madoka's pace since she brought a big luggage with wheels and a grip, while
Kenta simply brought a back-pack, they decided to take a break in order to eat.
They laid out some sandwiches Madoka had prepared and ate them, especially
Benkei, who did so with much vigor. Kenta and Benkei ended up fighting over the
amount of sandwiches each person should be allowed and, in the midst of their
dispute, a yellow monkey grabbed what was left of the sandwiches. Everybody soon
stopped to realize they had no food left, and Kyouya directed their attention
towards the theft, who was happily sitting on the high branch of a tree, where
it was mostly inaccessible. Seeing as they had no other choice in the matter,
they just decided to leave. Since it was made clearer to Kenta that they would
have still had food if Benkei had not eaten so much, the group broke in half:
Kenta and Madoka went one way, while the two others took their own path. Kenta
also decides to mock Benkei's "BUURUU!!! Bull Upper!", his two indexes
acting as small horns. At some point on their route, which appears to be the
most hazardous of the two, Madoka and Kenta are walking carefully along the side
of a mountain. Madoka however walks onto a weak formation of rocks and falls;
the same thing soon happens to Kenta. Suddenly, a mysterious person jumped to
their rescue and caught them in their fall; both are unconscious, and Madoka's
luggage gets crushed under a big falling rock. The unknown individual talks to
her to try and awake her, because Kenta is already conscious again. As her eyes
open, she recalls what happened and is filled of joy from knowing that she
survived such a fall. The other guy congratulates her, but tells her the news
about her things, which saddens her a lot. Forgetting about that, Hyouma
introduces himself happily. He even explains his name: 'hyou' means ice, and
'ma', demon. Interesting anecdote. Together, they enter the forest again and
Hyouma offers them food after both Kenta and Madoka's stomachs grumbled. He
secretly goes to the river and launches his Clay Aries into the water, somehow
capturing a lot of fish that they all eat. After this meal, Madoka and Kenta try
to get away, but Hyouma seems to insist on leading them somewhere: to persuade
them, he asks them if they really want to go into a forest filled with bears and
other dangerous animals, and obviously the two kids rush to his side. In a
relatively short amount of time, they arrive to a clear area and Kenta and
Madoka, exhausted from the walk, thank Hyouma, but they notice that he has
completely disappeared. Dumbstruck, they continue on in hopes of finding Ginga,
which Hyouma had been strangely curious about. On their side of the forest,
Kyouya and Benkei end up in front of a tall rocky formation, which angers Benkei.
He kicks at a branch that was on the ground, and it rebounds on the rocks
towards a bush. Hearing some noise coming from that plant, Benkei fears that he
has yet again hit a nest of bees but, to his relief, Hyouma reveals himself.
Kyouya is extremely weary of him since he noticed that the mysterious person had
been spying on them from the beginning. Unknown to them, he had also been the
one to send the monkey to fetch the sandwiches; when it had accomplished its
mission, Hyouma had patted it on the head. Still smiling though, Hyouma
convinces them, or at least Benkei, to let him lead them. They end up stuck in
front of a barrage of trunks. Since they seemingly cannot escalate the trunks,
Benkei decides to launch his Dark Bull at the wood, effectively destroying
everything and clearing their way. Hyouma is impressed by that beyblade and says
Balance blades are nice, which makes Kyouya even more suspicious: if he knew
about Balance beyblades, then that means he is a beyblader. Hyouma appears to
slightly deny that and they just carry on. However, only a few feet into the
passageway, a boar rushes towards Benkei, who runs to a tree and climbs high
onto it. The boar keeps striking the trunk, hoping to make it fall to the ground
with Benkei, who is completely scared of this threat. Having suddenly
disappeared, Hyouma launches his Clay Aries at the boar and the tree, succeeding
in chasing it away as well as making a clean cut into the wood. Hyouma then
reappears, making Kyouya's suspicion increase considerably. Nonetheless, the
group ends up meeting with Madoka and Kenta and, while Benkei and them readily
agree to follow Hyouma into the forest, Kyouya reluctantly does so, if only to
watch over the others as they are lead by this bizarre stranger. In what is left
of the Dark Nebula Castle, Ryuuga trains for the Battle Bladers tournament: he
is standing on a platform which is held over a sea of deadly spikes. Around him,
four groups of beybladers launch their beyblades: each have colours specific to
their group and all identically-coloured blades pertain to the same type; for
example, Stamina blades are red. Ryuuga easily defeats them with his
triple-dragon attack, but he wants more; he wants to demonstrate his
overwhelming powers. Meanwhile, Daidouji had been eating casually on a higher
level of the room, watching the match almost amusingly.
16. The Beautiful Aries (07/19/09 - Japan)
Ginga stands quietly at the bottom of a
valley, the wind blows. After a while, he decides to go forward. Meanwhile,
Hyouma continues leading Madoka, Kenta, Benkei and Kyouya. The latter is still
very suspicious of the new blader. They go through a rocky cliff, walking
cautiously to avoid falling or stumbling. The group keeps asking Hyouma if they
will be there soon, and he keeps assuring them that they are very close to their
destination. In his suspicion though, Kyouya takes a sort of rock disk, and he
places it on the ground. They go on, passing by a glade, a rocky cliff, a
desert-like area, a glade, a rocky cliff... All the while, they kept asking
Hyouma how much time was left before they arrived. At some point, Kyouya
confronts Hyouma about the fact that he thinks he has been misleading them on
purpose. Almost innocently, without turning to look at him, Hyouma asks why he
would believe that, to which Kyouya points to the pile of three rocks he put on
the ground, meaning they had gone in circles at least three times. The
mysterious boy seems unaffected by this revelation. Kyouya points his beyblade
and launcher at him, challenging him to a beybattle. Hyouma declines his 'offer'
and asks them to move forward with him. However, Rock Leone comes flying at him,
destroying huge rocks on its passage. In the urgency of his situation, Hyouma
quickly takes out his equipment and launches Clay Aries to protect himself from
the rocks. Finally, he reveals his beyblade to everybody. Then, instead of
offering to lead them on again, he defiantly blocks their way. Benkei and Kyouya
start telling him off for his behaviour, and both want a chance to battle him,
but Kenta interferes and a fight with Hyouma begins. Clay Aries turns out to be
a very powerful, yet defensive blade: just like a ram, it can propulse things
into the air as much as he can par against attacks, all with its horns.
Relatively quickly, Kenta loses after Clay Aries swiftly evaded one his attacks
and that his Flame Sagittario collided with a rock. Hyouma, now standing on top
of a rocky platform, smirks proudly at his work. He is however interrupted when
he realises that Benkei, Madoka and Kyouya run to Kenta's side to confort him.
The young boy is on his hands and knees, crying, and asks for forgiveness from
everybody, and from Ginga as well. To avenge Kenta, Benkei starts a beybattle
with Hyouma. Throughout the match, all his hits were effectively blocked by Clay
Aries. At one point, he decides to put all his power into a special attack: Red
Horn Upper. After striking Hyouma's blade viciously, Dark Bull digs a hole into
the ground and disappears. A few seconds later, it breaks through the surface of
rocks and strikes Clay Aries. The Light Wheel blade, after a moment, simply
turns around in the air with a move called "Gone with the wind". It
drops back to the ground, waits for the right moment, then hits Dark Bull with
an incredibly strong attack. Benkei's beyblade is sent flying to his feet.
Afterwards, it is Kyouya's turn to battle Hyouma, but the latter calmly tells
them that he is now ready to lead them to the real place they are looking for.
He then reveals that he had in fact been one of Ginga's childhood friends, that
they played together in the fields and with beyblades, in Koma village.
Reassured that they now know slightly more about him, the group of friends
happily follows him, while Kyouya continues staring at the same spot, his body
ready to launch a beyblade; he cannot really believe what turn of events just
happened. Hyouma tells them that they need to move a big rock that was in the
middle of the platform; Benkei easily pushes it away, revealing a secret
passageway. Meanwhile, on another side of the forest, Ginga meets a familiar dog
named Hokuto. Both stare at each other seriously, in a dark, misty
scenery.
17. The Silver Pegasis (07/26/09 - Japan)
Having proven their friendship with Ginga,
Madoka, Kenta, Benkei and Kyouya are finally properly led by Hyouma to Ginga.
They go on an unstable wooden bridge and at first take their precautions not to
break anything and fall, but Benkei decides to face the adventure and runs
across the bridge; the others follow him. A new scenery soon appears before
them: a peaceful, somewhat hidden village is revealed from within the forest,
and Hyouma announces that it is Koma Village, where he and Ginga grew up. As
they reach it, the village seems to have been deserted and everything is
suddenly dark. Then, a voice calls out to them, warning them against coming into
the town and telling them to leave immediately. Everybody is scared or very
suspicious of this mysterious voice, except Hyouma, who talks normally to the
voice, telling that person that everything is OK, that the group is made of
Ginga's friends. The clouds that were covering the sun now leave it shine to
reveal a talking dog named Hokuto. Everybody is obviously shocked to see that,
but Madoka ends up not being able to restrain herself any longer: she rushes
towards Hokuto and cuddles him, finding him too cute. At first, being quite
serious, he is reluctant to be hugged, but then she scratches him under his head
and he succumbs to her. Eventually, they want to know where Ginga is, and he
tells them he is on a quest to improve or find something, on the biggest
mountain of the village. They wish to catch up with him, but Hokuto assures them
that only Ginga can succeed alone in this. After convincing him though, he leads
them to some giant gates: if they are worthy enough to go see Ginga, then they
will be able to open the gates, otherwise they can simply wait for his return.
Kenta is the first to try, but Flame Sagittario just bounces off the hard wood
of the gates. None of them even damage the wood, and Hyouma calmly refuses to
help them, since they still have to prove themselves some more. In the end, they
decide to team up to open the doors; they all work together for their friend
Ginga. The gates open and...
Meanwhile, Ginga is facing the harsh, cold conditions of the mountain, but he
perseveres. On several occasions, he hears Ryuuga's taunts; he even sees him on
the avalanche that is descending towards him, and Ryuuga says Ginga cannot even
surpass an avalanche, so how could he defeat him. Of course, those
hallucinations force Ginga to go further and eliminate anything that stands on
his path. After a while though, the freezing temperature and the snowstorm
weaken Ginga, and he faints after having tried to launch his beyblade at the
voices he heard in the wind. Everything is too frozen however, and Ginga is not
even able to reach his fallen Storm Pegasis. The cold makes him sleepy and
light-headed, but he is soon awakened by what seems to be his friends calling
his name in the distance. He moves one single finger and, as it touches his
Pegasis, it glows with a blue hue. Having found his strength again, he gets up
and launches his blade forward: it lights up his way to the top of the mountain.
Ginga enters a sanctuary that is slightly different to the one where Ryuuga
killed his father. He moves towards a rocky table to take a look at a box.
Inside it, there is a parchment that his father wrote, and then begins a more or
less serious conversation with his father's spirit, where Ginga gets told off
for things he did, but he also gets reminded that only the Blader's Soul counts
in a beybattle. Somehow, this satisfies Ginga and he leaves the mountain to get
back to his friends, now completely refreshed in his soul.
18. Green Hell (08/02/09 - Japan)
Hyouma is cooking some brochettes for
everybody, and they all love them, even though Kyouya does not really want to
admit it. Meanwhile, Ginga thanks Hokuto for his help and they have a discussion
regarding what he learned at the mountain. Then, Kenta calls them and advises
them to get there quickly if they still want some food, because Benkei is still
eating several brochettes for himself. Ginga hurriedly jumps off the wall on top
of which he had been talking with Hokuto, and the latter is impressed by the
friendship they all share, and he is also jealous that they get this food... The
sun disappears from the sky, allowing the group to observe the stars: the
Sagittarius formation is visible, but Taurus is not, to the disarray of Benkei;
on his side of the field, Ginga sees the stars aligned to form the Dragon, and
he promises himself that their next battle will be very different now. The next
morning, Hyouma brings them to various places where he and Ginga used to have
fun beyblading: the first thing they see is a trunk that is so polished from use
inside that it has become an interesting stadium, and Kenta and Benkei try it.
Afterwards, they go to a river, and Ginga shows Hyouma that he can still have
his beyblade jump from rock to rock until it comes to the other side of the
river; naturally, Benkei tries and fails, his Dark Bull dropping into the water;
then Kyouya decides to attempt this feat, which he succeeds, supposedly because
he is Ginga's rival. Finally, they come to a location where tall rocks with
holes in them are placed randomly all around: the goal of this game is to have
your blade go through the holes. Benkei tries again with Kenta, but only the
latter ends up not missing the target. Hearing Hyouma and Ginga talk about the
difficulty of this task, and after Ginga challenged him to do it, Kyouya easily
launches his Rock Leone through a hole, saving his reputation again. Then, out
of nowhere, Hyouma seriously challenges Ginga to a beybattle because he wants to
know who is the better beyblader after all this time, especially since he has a
somewhat new beyblade. So he takes the group of friends to a special area with a
unique beystadium: it is in fact the crater of a falling rock from space; the
heat of the impact transformed the whole surface of the crater, and as it dried,
it became extraordinarily smooth, and dark green in appearance. The center below
the surface is still slightly hot. Ginga and Hyouma start the beybattle and, at
first, Storm Pegasis 105RF goes very fast, but they soon find out that such a
smooth stadium floor makes changing a beyblade's direction very difficult. Since
Clay Aries is a defense type beyblade, it does not really have that problem, so
Hyouma uses this handicap to almost throw Storm Pegasis out. Of course,
everybody complains about Hyouma's stadium choice because it gives him an unfair
advantage over attack type beyblades. Kyouya, though, believes in Ginga's
ability to win: as his rival, he got to see that on many instances. Kyouya's
claim that he is the only rival for Ginga destabilizes Hyouma slightly, but he
is still confident. He gets his Aries to remain in the center of the stadium and
this way sets the same traps he used against Kenta and Benkei before: Storm
Pegasis indeed comes to strike it, but Clay Aries pushes it upwards as a ram
would with its horns. Hyouma thinks he has defeated Ginga in the end, but Kyouya
knows better: Ginga always comes back down with his special Shooting Star
Attack, and everybody falls for that trick. As a matter of fact, Storm Pegasis
goes to strike Clay Aries but the latter blade changes its position at the last
moment, causing Ginga's beyblade to hit the stadium's center instead. Hyouma
hopes he has won, however, as the smoke clears, cracks in the stadium floor
start appearing, and they quickly reach the end of the giant fighting bowl.
Storm Pegasis is still intact and Clay Aries, wanting to get away, gets stuck in
a crack, still spinning. As Storm Pegasis advances quickly towards his beyblade,
Hyouma invokes his attack "Gone with the wind", but he realizes that
the free-spinning part of his Track is what is stuck in the crack. He cannot get
away and ends up losing the battle. However, Ginga is still friends with
everybody and is happy to have had this much fun. He embraces both his rivals,
telling them how delighted he is to have them with him.
19. Take the Tag Battle by storm! (08/09/09 -
Japan)
Madoka is cleaning her friends' beyblades
and everything goes well until an error occurs while checking Dark Bull's state.
She then works so hard on them that she falls almost asleep. Meanwhile, Benkei
and Kenta (with Ginga) are going in the direction of the B-Pit while singing
respectively "BURU BURU BURU" and "SA-GI-TARIO", etc. They
happily get up to Madoka's workplace where they find her very sleepy, Beyblade
pieces stuck on her face from where she laid her head to rest. Ginga, Benkei and
Kenta take their beyblades, thank her for her work, then eagerly go try them
out. However, Kenta and Benkei soon realize that their beyblades are not acting
as they should, and they see why: their Tracks and Bottoms were interchanged.
They hurry upstairs to get an explanation from Madoka, who says that, while
cleaning and checking each beyblade, she discovered that Flame Sagittario's C145
had a lot of stamina and defense and that it could go better with Dark Bull, and
vice versa. At first, the two boys are reluctant, but they go practice with
their new beys in the Face Hunters' old warehouse with cans and they realize
that they can really get more power with that parts change. Benkei can even
create three times more holes in the surrounding walls than what he usually did.
From that instant on, they are totally addict to the idea of changing parts.
They get back to the B-Pit and teach the other kids the virtue of choosing
different parts for their beyblades. They make suggestions that has everybody
amazed by the obvious improvement of their performance. Next, Kenta and Benkei
joyfully walk out on the streets singing about Faces, Wheels, Tracks and
Bottoms, when a white truck passes by them, only to stop mere metres in front of
them. They hurry to its side to watch the video that is being showed: a new,
special tournament organized by the WBBA will be hosted in a few days. Various
challenging stages are set, and surprises are to be expected. Benkei and Kenta
see this as an opportunity to use their new discovery. They head right back to
the B-Pit to look confusingly at the different parts available there, then, for
some reason, they go act like spinning tops on the riverside... Ginga watches
their dance with a playful smirk. The next day, they all go to the Beyblade
Arena. Since the format of the tournament is one that promotes tag battle, Kenta
and Benkei go together, and Ginga could have participated too had Kyouya not
refused to team up with him to exchange parts. Instead, Madoka and Ginga go in
the audience to watch their friends' adventure. Their first beybattle is against
Osamu and Takashi on a platform that is floating in a huge basin. They engage in
a battle with four spinning tops in the stadium and all is fine, until suddenly
a big wave threatens to come over all of them. Thankfully, since they had
changed their parts, Kenta and Benkei still won though: the water just flowed
past their beyblades. Afterwards, they have to get their beyblades up an
artifical waterfall to hit a "GOAL" button, and they need to get their
blades to the other side by having them jump on floating platforms. Finally,
they are asked to launch their beyblades somewhere while maintaining balance on
the relatively tiny platform they are standing on, and they do succeed. However,
they broke their balance while celebrating, and their black case of parts fell
into the water, too far for them to grab anymore. All the parts scattered into
the water. Disappointed and upset, Benkei and Kenta go to the locker room.
Having lost all their parts, they think they are finished now that they cannot
change their beyblades, but Ginga arrives and tells them that they can believe
in their original bey and still use only those, even though parts changing is
also a great idea. To prove his point, he starts a beybattle with them and they
see that they all have their good and bad points. Now more confident in their
strength, they go back to the arena and properly win the tournament after
battling in an ice stadium. Everybody applauds them. After their victory, they
return to their local Bey arena to practice some ridiculous launches.
20. Opening! Survival Battle (08/16/09 - Japan)
Daidouji brings Ryuuga over to a deserted
area by helicopter to introduce him to a new beyblader who has a lot of
potential. As they land, the mysterious, small person is seen launching his
beyblade, which looks almost identical to Flame Sagittario, into the ground to
form a big crater. Daidouji expects Ryuuga to be impressed, but the younger
beyblader only starts laughing at this performance. He ends up launching his own
L Drago and creates a very huge crater. Back in the city, Madoka tells Ginga and
their friends about a new kind of tournament that the WBBA is organizing:
Survival Battle. The concept is simple: survive through beybattles; if you lose
even once, you are out of the competition. Everybody is of course very excited
at the idea to participate in the tournament, and Ginga says he wants to eat
hamburgers to get ready for the battles, although the others do not really
understand his wish... Kyouya, Kenta, Benkei, Ginga, Madoka, Osamu, Takashi and
Akira all go to the meet-up point for the Survival Battle. 1000 beybladers are
reunited there, in front of a blimp with a digital screen on its side. Madoka is
only supposed to be there to watch them play from a distance while she will be
working on other things, but as everybody rushes to the six planes available to
transport the bladers, she is caught up in the mass and ends up on board. Ginga,
who is sitting next to her on the plane, reassures her by telling her he will
protect her throughout the tournament. During their flight, Blader DJ makes
entertaining speeches and as they approach the island they will be battling on,
he suddenly slips into his enthusiastic speech that they will be ejected shortly
from the planes to land, so they should grab the parachutes that are by each of
their seats. The floor under their feet opens up, and they all fall at the same
time. During their fall, their parachute allows them to talk to each other:
people wish their partners good luck, and Ginga asks Kenta if they will be
'teaming up', however he gently declines the offer since he wants to prove
himself as well. After landing on the island, Ginga sees that the blimp with the
giant TV screen shows the record of all the beybladers who are eliminated from
the competition, and there are already many. A group of beybladers come up to
him with a challenge, and he happily accepts it. Obviously, he easily beats all
of them with a few moves, like ricocheting on a rock in front of his Pegasis to
have it land right behind the attackers. Meanwhile, Hikaru defeated other people
with her Infinity Wave attack, and Hyouma has decided to simply wait for the
others to eliminate themselves amongst each others, hidden on some high branch
of a tree. Benkei has fun beating some beybladers, but as he walks away from a
place, he steps on one of Tetsuya's traps and he ends up being lifted by a net,
along with Osamu, Akira and Takashi. At first, they do not think much of this
trick, but when they realize that he has their beyblades in his possession and
that he threatens to let them fall in the water, they try talking to him about
the fairness of that, and that he should try actually defeating them in a
beybattle. Tetsuya tries to remain evil though, so he does let the blades fall,
however Kenta appears just at the right time and saves them all, letting his
friends free from the nets. Finally able to do something, they engage in a real
beybattle and Tetsuya wants to bribe them by faking to be a poor, innocent boy
whom nobody should hurt. Everybody sees through his game though, and as he walks
backwards near the water, the match and his weight make the point of the rock
break. Kenta and Benkei get there in time to hold him up however, and Tetsuya
fakes being appreciative. He swiftly gets behind them and stamps on the ground,
fissuring the rock between him and them so they fall into the water. As he
dances to celebrate his 'victory' though, the rock he stands on also falls...
Somewhere else on the island, Kyouya and Hikaru engage in a battle that Hyouma
silently watches, still hidden. Kenta and Benkei get to some rocks that are
above sea level. Kenta seems unconscious at first, but when he wakes up, he sees
that his wrist is most likely broken, which could cost him the rest of the
tournament. Elsewhere, the mysterious new beyblader has defeated numerous other
players on his own, bringing the total of survivors to only 100. Also,
Osamu and his two friends find an odd box on the shore they swam to, and it
contains a Launcher Grip and a special device...
21. The warriors of the island (08/23/09 -
Japan)
The Survival Battle challenge continues
with Ginga winning all his matches. Hikaru and Kyouya get an intermediary
challenge from some amateur beybladers, which they easily beat. Hyouma, who had
remained hidden behind the leaves, decides to challenge Kyouya as well, however
he gets defeated by Kyouya's wind attacks. Meanwhile, Benkei takes care of
Kenta's broken hand by bandaging it, and the two bladers meet Yuu, a young
competitor just like them. He leads them to the health station in the woods of
the island. On another side of it, Osamu learns to use his new Angle Compass,
and the three friends form a new team, now more confident in their power: OTA.
Coincidentally, Ginga and Madoka get intercepted by three dark bladers who want
to seem menacing, but Ginga immediately waves at them with a smile on his face
when he discovers that they are Osamu, Takashi and Akira. Hikaru challenges Yuu,
Benkei and Kenta to a fight, and it is there that they discover how powerful
this small kid actually is: their Beyblades all get absorbed towards Yuu's Flame
Libra by a sand trap, and at the end he uses a shocking special attack which
illuminates the whole island in green light, promising a devastating
result.
22. The horrible Libra (08/30/09 - Japan)
Flame Libra's powerful attack left Benkei,
Kenta and Hikaru momentarily unconscious on the ground, partly covered by some
sand from the crater, and their beyblades are obviously not spinning anymore,
while Yuu's is. Ginga, Madoka and Kyouya arrive at the giant crater on top of a
natural plateau to discover this, and they realize that only four bladers are
left: Ginga, Kyouya, Yuu, and Madoka... As a matter of fact, while she might
know a lot about Beyblade in general, she is terrified at the idea of even
beyblading, so she retires very quickly with her tool box in hand. Since this is
Survival Battle though, the three other beybladers have to fight to determine
the ultimate winner. Just before beginning the battle, Yuu starts complimenting
Ginga and Kyouya, but he soon starts saying that Ginga has more skills than the
other and that he would be a more worthy opponent, which obviously ticks Kyouya
off. The match begins and Kyouya starts his attacks on Flame Libra first to
attempt to teach him not to talk about him that way in front of his rival. He
even knocks Storm Pegasis away when it tries to strike Yuu's beyblade so he can
have him all for himself. However, Yuu is not intimidated at all by Kyouya's
attempts: he uses his own special attack which makes the sand on the ground turn
into something more compact, which is harder on the beyblade's Bottom. Kyouya
does not back down and makes his tornado triple for more power, but Flame Libra
eventually manages to very easily slip right through the wind to hit Rock Leone.
With all the wind, the hits, and the solidity of the ground, the crack that had
appeared in Rock Leone's Bottom at the end of the battle with Hyouma worsens,
and more cracks appear all over the Bottom and the Track. Rock Leone had also
started dangerously wobbling. Benkei and Kenta want to launch their beyblades to
help him, however Blader DJ reminds them that it is illegal. Madoka sees this,
and her computer's simulation reveals that if this continues, the Bottom will
come right off with part of the broken Track still attached to it, which would
seriously ruin Rock Leone. Slightly reluctantly, she approaches the side of the
crater, puts on her special glasses, targets the right point that would make the
most efficient hit, and launches her own Light Wheel beyblade towards Rock
Leone. The three tornadoes disappear and Madoka's blade stopped spinning, but
Rock Leone is still spinning weakly. Kyouya is shocked by what just happened and
as he is about to get back into the match with his wind, he hears a sad cry
coming from his beyblade. Recalling what happened during his latest beybattle
with Ginga, he simply walks down to Rock Leone, bends down and grabs it with his
fingers. He then goes to Madoka, gives her his beyblade, and orders her to fix
it quickly before walking away not far from the crater, hands in his pockets.
Yuu appears to be sad that Kyouya left the competition, but he is quite excited
that he will battle Ginga now. Their fight begins, and Yuu is basically in
admiration of Ginga's moves. Nonetheless, he ends up showing his other, more
evil side: at first, he simply does his first attack, which solidifies the
ground but also seems to send a large wave of sand onto Storm Pegasis, who
easily jumps out of it; later, he makes an attack which has his Flame Libra emit
very strident sounds that send shockwaves everywhere, and everybody gets thrown
on the ground except Ginga and Yuu; then, when Ginga sees a special rock which
he uses to send his Storm Pegasis in the air for the Shooting Star Attack, a
sort of explosion happens which knocks Ginga's beyblade out of the crater while
Flame Libra still spins. Victorious, Yuu still says he really, really enjoyed
this battle and Ginga, shocked at first by the outcome, comes to his senses and
admits that he found it very fun as well. Both shake hands with joy, and
everybody applauds them, but especially Yuu who then gets interviewed by Blader
DJ. With a lot of enthusiasm, Yuu innocently answers his questions and wishes to
see everybody still at Battle Bladers, the upcoming, big tournament.
23. On the road to Battle Bladers (09/06/09 -
Japan)
After Yuu announces Battle Bladers,
Daidouji appears out of nowhere to say that Dark Nebula supports this new
tournament and that some of their members will also be participating in it.
Shyly, Blader DJ tells him that the WBBA does not approve of that tournament
yet, but he quickly cowers under Daidouji's confident glare. At the same time,
Yuu attempts to get the crowd to still follow him for the competition they had
seemed so eager to participate to, yet people are wary now that they know that
Dark Nebula is behind this project. However, Yuu still perseveres and explains
that players must have five victories to go to the next level in the tournament.
Ryuuga then appears and metaphorically unleashes his three emperor dragons on
the audience of bladers. Ginga, of course, starts shouting at Ryuuga for what he
has done, and the dragons almost strike him as they charge. The two beybladers
launch their tops for a quick battle that seems to end in a draw. After seeing
that, Ginga is more determined to take part in Battle Bladers so he can defeat
Ryuuga once and for all, and everybody agrees with him because they want to
become the number one beyblader of all time. Yuu and Daidouji, who were
litterally sent inside one of the helicopters by the power that was summoned in
the short fight between Ginga and Ryuuga, talk about Battle Bladers and how the
Beypower acts in the performance of everyone. They also discuss the fact that
Ryuuga is currently the reigning champion, and that he even beat Yuu when they
first met in the deserted area. Meanwhile, elsewhere, all the beybladers are
training in every possible way for the tournament, may it be by beybattling on
an unsteady platform of rock, running down hills without falls, or simply
practicing in local WBBA shops. In the end, the WBBA accepts Battle Bladers
after seeing the interest everyone had for it. As for Ginga and his friends,
they all decided to battle separately in the tournament in order to challenge
themselves individually to prove their value as beybladers, however they all
meet up at the ruins where Hikaru first appeared a few days ago and have a giant
beybattle where Ginga still uses his Shooting Star Attack.
24. The Beautiful Aquila (09/13/09 - Japan)
While cleaning a few miscellaneous Beyblade
parts, Madoka recalls how her friends won their preliminary matches in Battle
Bladers: even though he was having difficulty in the beginning, Benkei
devastated the stadium and even the top of the surrounding mountains and hills
with a special attack; Kenta used one as well to beat his opponent's beyblade as
well as to slash at some big rocks in the background; Hikaru simply used
Infinity Wave to drown the opposing blade; Kyouya defeated Taraba with his three
tornadoes; and Ginga easily won his own match. All battles took place in
different arenas that are located in various sceneries. Now the more important
matches can begin. However, before his battle starts, Ginga takes some time to
rest beside a small lake, when suddenly a group of bladers, called the Hagure
Bladers, challenged him to a beybattle. He accepts the fight, but he is
outnumbered. Just as the beybladers prepared for a special attack, an eagle
screeched in the sky, which made everybody look up. Out of nowhere, a boy with
long white hair jumps over and lands swiftly onto the lake, almost floating for
a few seconds. He quickly beats the Hagure Bladers, then, after they left, he
introduces himself to Ginga. The eagle catches a fish in the water, and Ginga
immediately wants to catch one too, but he cannot see any. Tsubasa tells him
this: sound, wind, form. And all of a sudden he holds a fish in his hands. After
a while, the sun is getting down, so the two beybladers decide to start a fire.
Words are exchanged as they eat their fried fish, but Tsubasa quickly goes to
sleep, resting his head on his bag. The day after, Ginga's next match is up, and
it appears Tsubasa is his opponent. During the battle, the eagle blader keeps
calmly telling Ginga a few hints on how to beat him: when Earth Aquila evades
Storm Pegasis' attacks, Tsubasa says something which reminds Ginga of the
'fishing' they did the day before, and Storm Pegasis accelerates to even get
just behind Earth Aquila; when the latter keeps slamming into Storm Pegasis
105RF and that Ginga cannot keep up with the attacks, he gets reminded of the
fishing again and he uses Tsubasa's "sound, wind, form" advice to
notice a pattern in the attacks; at the end, when the two beyblades finally
strike each other head on yet that Storm Pegasis still cannot successfully win,
Tsubasa makes Ginga notice that his beyblade is shorter than Earth Aquila, so if
he could get on top of it... Ginga does that and Storm Pegasis gets sent up in
the air, where they execute the Shooting Star Attack and win the game. It is
only while the crowd is applauding and cheering for them and that he notices
that Tsubasa is still very calm despite his loss that Ginga Hagane realizes that
he was, in a sense, manipulated to win. So Tsubasa and him part on awkward
words, however they are certainly not enemies and they hope to see each other
again. Simply, Tsubasa says Battle Bladers was not too important for him.
25. Sniper Capricorne (09/20/09 - Japan)
As he stands before the tower where the
next matches will be held, Kyouya remembers how he used to be a tyrant among
street beybladers. He now seems disinterested by it. However, a group of three
beybladers suddenly confront him just as he turns around and they challenge him
to a beybattle which he easily wins, even though he was bored throughout the
whole fight. The blader who appears to be their leader falls to his kness in
front of his own beyblade, but Kyouya simply walks past him. He does halt though
when the three bladers mention a dangerous beyblader with a Storm Capricorne.
This kid who goes under the name 'Death Capri' has mostly terrorized the bullies
in the city, so they warn Kyouya about him, yet he clearly walks away
unbothered. Unknown to him though, Tobio watches him from the top of the tower
with the special equipment glass he has around his left eye. He plans his
actions on this Tategami Kyouya while sucking on a blue lollipop. He assembles
his Beylauncher, Launcher Grip, Beypointer and Angle Compass, concentrates to
get the right angle, and shoots his Beyblade right in front of Kyouya. The
latter jumps backwards in time, but he is otherwise not interested at all by the
jumping Beyblade that he does not find threatening anymore, which angers Tobio,
the Death Capri. Storm Capricorne keeps following him wherever he goes, but
Kyouya completely ignores it. Eventually, he gets to his apartment, which
basically looks like an abandoned house or shop. Tobio tries to figure out a way
to infiltrate the house with his Beyblade because it unnerves him to know that
Kyouya does not see him as a menace. He therefore launches Capricorne through
the aeration hole in between two panels of the fan. But even as it jumps around
Kyouya's room, nothing, nobody moves or reacts to that presence. Kyouya only
slightly opens an eye, then smirks. Tobio starts being really annoyed and he
even breaks his lollipop in two with his teeth. Just as he is about to launch
his Beyblade again, Rock Leone appears out of nowhere and goes through part of
his hair, cutting a hole in his afro. Upon hearing Kyouya's voice, Tobio drops
his launcher and raises his hands in the air, as if knowing he is at an obvious
disadvantage at the moment. Kyouya tells him not to bother him because he is not
good at it and, ticked off, Tobio leans down to pick up his launcher. As he
turns around though, Rock Leone creates a short tornado and both it and Kyouya
disappear. Death Capri is not really going to give up though, and he confidently
runs a hand through his hair only to realize that it is messed up due to the
previous attack. Meanwhile, Kyouya goes to train in a zoo and the energy of the
animals, especially the lions, fuels him to definitely defeat Tobio in their
upcoming match. Madoka and Ginga watch the small tournament unfold. Every
beyblader in the tower is scared because they heard that Death Capri would
participate as well. Kyouya quickly wins his battle. Tobio, however, goes to his
match by revealing his presence on top of the huge television screen behind
Blader DJ. As he prepares his equipment, his opponent asks what he is doing that
is taking so long. Angered, Tobio turns around and utters that he has locked his
target, while looking at the other boy. The latter is obviously shocked. Kyouya
calmly watches this exchange, and Tobio wants to prove himself to him. So he
gets down and lays on the floor, preparing to shoot as a soldier would. He has
decided to launch his Capricorne at a 90o angle. His Beyblade bounces
around a stadium fiercely, just like a goat does. Tobio wins his match and says
"Mission Complete". Meanwhile, Madoka had been trying to figure out
his attacks. The time has come for Kyouya to face Tobio again officially. Blader
DJ announces that the winner of this battle will be rewarded with 2000 Beypoints.
As soon as they begin the fight, Kyouya shows that he has perfectly understood
the pattern in Storm Capricorne's attacks. However, that only makes Tobio more
aggressive and he now makes Capricorne strike the stadium floor so strongly that
the impact creates a hole. Soon, the whole stadium is littered with holes, to
Blader DJ's despair. Storm Capricorne then finally begins striking Rock Leone
yet it remains generally unaffected due to Kyouya's calm attitude. Tobio makes a
final attack and for a moment he believes he has won, however he is shocked to
see that Rock Leone is still standing and simply making Capricorne turn oddly on
top of it. Tobio does not understand how Rock Leone could still be spinning, and
Kyouya tells him that Ginga's Beyblade Spirit made him this strong. He produces
three tornadoes and wins the match. The two beyblades meet outside later and
Tobio mentions Ginga's help again. Kyouya simply agrees and walks forward and
away from Tobio, who stops him only to throw him a lollipop with his head on it,
as a gift. They agree to meet again, and Kyouya licks the candy...
26. Tsubasa Dancing In The Darkness (09/27/09 -
Japan)
Another stage of Battle Bladers takes
place: the Hagure, some Face Hunters, Tsubasa and an obvious Benkei look-alike
from Dark Nebula all compete in one stadium. The match begins and Blader DJ is
impressed by the power of this Benkei #2's beyblade, Rock Orso D125B. It knocks
out a few beyblades. Slightly intimidated, the other gang members decide to
attempt to attack him all together, which does not work. Suddenly, Tsubasa comes
out to burst Benkei #2's bubble and attacks his beyblade with agile but powerful
strikes. Daidouji, who had been watching the match from his headquarthers and
talking about his intentions for Battle Bladers with Yuu, is absolutely
awestruck by the power Tsubasa has, and from that moment on one idea is set in
his mind: get Ootori Tsubasa to join him in Dark Nebula. Later, as if to answer
his prayers, Tsubasa infiltrates the Dark Nebula building. He swiftly gets to
the room Daidouji is sitting in and promptly says he wants to join the
organization. Daidouji is of course skeptical as to why he would suddenly wish
to join them, and Tsubasa assures him it is all for the skills: he wants to
train and get better. Coincidentally, those motives fit well with Dark Nebula's.
After a talk where Tsubasa surprises Daidouji by his sharpness and his apparent
need to improve, the former gets slightly accepted: he must first demonstrate
his skills in a beybattle. They go to a huge stadium arena and three beybladers,
including Benkei #2, appear to verse him. Daidouji reminds Tsubasa that if he
were to lose, he would have to leave; the eagle blader acts as if this is a
known fact. Apparently, it seems the three beybladers are brothers. The fight
begins and they attack Earth Aquila, who avoids all of their moves easily.
Tsubasa simply says he has more power; that is why it is so easy for him. The
three brothers make their special attack, Triple Orso Step, which consists in
the three beyblades grinding into the opponent's. With this added power, they
attempt to force Earth Aquila out of the stadium, however the latter just turns
around at the last second and sends all of them out. The three brothers argue
amongst themselves, and Daidouji opens a trap below them to make them disappear.
Now, Tsubasa wants to battle Ryuuga, which is a request Daidouji finds arrogant.
Instead, Yuu appears, telling Tsubasa that there are other good beybladers he
must battle before daring to bother Ryuuga. Not intimidated at all, Tsubasa
starts insulting Yuu, asking him where his parents are, telling him he should
barely be allowed to do all of this at his age. He even calls him 'boy', or
'son'. Of course, this angers Yuu a lot, and this 'playful' talk on Tsubasa's
part continues all throughout the match. Flame Libra's Sonic Buster attack,
which solidifies the ground, barely affects Earth Aquila since only a small
portion of the tip actually comes into contact with the ground. Therefore,
Tsubasa's beyblade can still attack Yuu's without any noticeable handicap. After
a while, Tsubasa's comments really tick Yuu off and he does his final attack:
Final Judgement Inferno. Even Daidouji tries to tell Yuu not to do it, because
the roof ends up being completely destroyed and the computer system, including
Merci, fails to stay intact. Throughout all of this though, Tsubasa remains
absolutely calm and unaffected, his arms crossed. Somehow, while Yuu had been
looking confidently at his blade doing the attack, Tsubasa got on top of a part
of the structure of the building, since all the windows are now shattered. He
expresses how he likes to feel the wind go past him. His Earth Aquila is also
fueled by the invisible element, so he sends it far up in the sky only to have
it fall back with even power. With a special attack, Earth Aquila ends the
battle with a tie. Tsubasa says he did not even show his true power.
Reluctantly, Daidouji accepts him in Dark Nebula, to Yuu's dismay. Merci
questions him as well. Before Tsubasa leaves, Daidouji tells him he will be
waiting for him at the special training he will receive. Tsubasa seems to doubt
it.
27. Intrusion! Challenge Match (10/04/09 -
Japan)
Daidouji calls Tsubasa to his office to
tell him about a kind of mission he has for him. Seven beybladers must be
defeated: Ginga, Kenta, Benkei, Kyouya, Madoka, Hikaru and Hyouma. Tsubasa
stubbornly tells him he will go on his own, but Yuu and Daidouji complain.
Meanwhile, Blader DJ is about to present the promising star of Battle Bladers,
Ginga, on a show, but instead of being under the spotlight, the blader is stuck
to one of the cameras and salutes all his friends on the television, to their
slight humiliation. He even thanks Madoka for her burgers. The timekeeper of the
show and the whole crew eventually manage to get him off the camera. After this
odd event, Kenta decides to go to one of the small tournaments being held by the
WBBA as a part of Battle Bladers. There, he meets Hyouma, but both go into a
different branch of the event. The tournament starts and both win their games.
Out of nowhere, Tsubasa and Yuu arrive to the location of the event and ignore
the receptionist's notice that they cannot really enter now that battles have
already begun. Tsubasa even says that he knows it. He goes to Kenta and
challenges him. Throughout the whole match, Flame Sagittario is struggling to
hold up to Earth Aquila's vicious and repetitive attacks from the sky, and while
Kenta finally takes out his special attack at the end of the fight, Tsubasa
manages to beat him with one of his own. On the other side of the forest, Yuu
faces Hyouma. The two beybladers fight in a river, on three massive rocks. At
first, Hyouma seems to have the upper hand because he appears to have more
balance, but as soon as Yuu uses his Sonic Wave attack that solidifies the
ground, Clay Aries has to retreat to the thick border of the rock-stadium, where
it is disadvantaged compared to the ease Flame Libra has at moving around the
stadium with its sharp Bottom. In the end, Yuu's attacks are too strong for
Hyouma and the latter loses the match. Of course, this whole intrusion by
Tsubasa and Yuu annoyed Blader DJ a lot, seeing as he represents the rules of
the game. Back to the Dark Nebula building where Yuu and Tsubasa have reported
their victory, Daidouji and them mention that Ryuuga will now have an easier
path to follow.
28. Dark Cancer's Big Kani Kani Plan! (10/11/09
- Japan)
Madoka looks through her computer data,
notably at a list of the beybladers in order of their Beypoints. She is shocked
to find a mean blader they know on the list of those who participate to the
qualifications: Tetsuya. At the moment, he is using another one of his tricks to
fool everybody in the audience as well as his opponent with a sad story that
happened to a... crab?! While everybody cries, his opponent's Beyblade is sent
out, and it is only after Tetsuya is gone that Blader DJ realises that they just
fell for a nonsensical story. On his way, Tetsuya recalls how his childhood
always revolved around crabs, for some reason. Meanwhile, Ryuuga trains in a
sort of extinguished volcano against huge rocks rolling towards him. Daidouji
talks with Yuu about the tournament, and sends him to recruit another blader. He
pulls an act in the arena where he seems bored, but says out loud that nobody
seems worthy of Dark Nebula's time. This piques Tetsuya's interest, and he
decides to follow Yuu almost subtly until they reach the Dark Nebula building.
He hides behind Yuu while he talks with Daidouji, but the latter obviously sees
him. Tetsuya convinces Daidouji that he wants to join the evil organization
because he wants his revenge on Ginga for defeating him so much. After
considering this, he brings Tetsuya to a machine that builds him an improved
Beyblade: Dark Cancer CH120SF. With this new tool, he hurries to the arena for
his next match with a different appearance and a new façade to fool people: his
hair is tied in a pony tail, and he does not wear his cape. This more feminine
look is meant to make bladers believe that he is friendly and caring, and that
they should not hurt him too much. The battles start, and Benkei eventually has
to fight Tetsuya. Benkei tries to strike his Beyblade out of the stadium, but
Tetsuya's acts somehow make him win. Now it is Ginga's turn to face Tetsuya, and
he knows he must not fall for his tricks. From the beginning of the match, Ginga
keeps attacking Tetsuya without even looking at his teary face. Storm Pegasis
kicks Dark Cancer out even though Tetsuya had realised near the end that he
needed to abandon his masquerade and just beyblade. He is still very mad that
Ginga beat him again.
29. Kenta and Sora (10/18/09 - Japan)
Blader DJ interviews Kenta about his
experience with Beyblade. One question reminds him of a time where he met a
special guy...
A round of Battle Bladers begins and Kenta is facing and winning against a
few opponents. As he is about to start another match after everybody in the
arena cheered for him, a newcomer appears after something blew up: that strange
kid had shot his beyblade at the two staff members guarding the entrance to the
stadium, acting like their warning was nothing. The guy, Sora, advances towards
Kenta and challenges him to a beybattle, knowing very well that he technically
cannot enter the tournament at this stage. At first, Kenta hesitates, but the
audience soon tells him to accept the challenge because they know he can win
anyway. Not really thrown off by their comments, Sora seems satisfied to at
least have his match and he hurries to the other side of the stadium, ordering
the kid who was there to leave. Both Kenta and Sora prepare to launch, and the
latter suddenly jumps into the air to shoot his beyblade. Shocked by this for a
few seconds, Kenta quickly launches his own bey in time to avoid Sora's, Cyber
Pegasis. The battle continues and Sora seems strong enough; he then sends his
beyblade up into the air and evokes the Shooting Star Attack, which obviously
surprises Kenta and everyone in the audience. They all expect a formidable
attack like Ginga's, however, after a while, they see no beyblade coming down
anywhere, there is no sign of power in the sky. Finally, Cyber Pegasis feebly
falls to the ground. Blader DJ, unbelieving, quietly calls a Stadium Out. Sora
appears very annoyed at the fact he still cannot get this special technique to
work. Kenta, hesitantly proud of his victory, recalls that he saw something that
reminded him of Ginga in Sora's vibrant personality. So he decides to follow
Sora to the beach, where he is practicing his ineffective attacks in the sand.
Kenta makes his presence known, and Sora shoots his beyblade at him: all it does
is get stuck in the sand, not even coming close to Kenta. Desperate, Sora just
sits on some rocks and declares that it is useless to try to do like Ginga.
Curious, Kenta asks him why he wants to resemble his friend: Sora was at a match
in Battle Bladers one day and he saw Ginga win against his opponent with a
Beyspirit that amazed him. Ever since, he saw something in both Ginga and
himself that was very similar. He knew then that he wanted to be just like Ginga.
Kenta then explains to him what Ginga had told him about the Beyspirit and that
it is an essential element for every Blader. He brings Sora back to his city,
where they have fun training, Kenta often winning, Sora choking on his food,
getting angry at people, etc. After all of that though, Sora's Shooting Star
Attack is still not good. Kenta hypothesizes that it might be because his Cyber
(Pegasis) is not totally like the original, Storm Pegasis. He was quite curious
when he had the opportunity to look at Sora's beyblade for the first time. At
the end of the day, when the sun is down, Kenta invites Sora to draw his energy
from the stars, like Ginga and him do. The next day, the two beybladers
participate to an odd Battle Bladers competition: the beyblades have to go
through a few obstacles, like cones they have to avoid, a bridge, and rocks, to
reach a GOAL mark first. Everybody launches their beyblade but Sora, who is
still thinking about Kenta's comment on the 'original Wheel'. He soon gets out
of his thoughts by Kenta and Blader DJ, and he awkwardly attaches his Cyber to
his launcher and shoots it at full speed. Instead of avoiding the cones, he has
Cyber strike them 'head' first, sending them out of the way. This annoys the
other bladers who actually followed the rules. Then, as all the other beyblades
are on the small wooden bridge on their way to the GOAL, Cyber spins fiercely
right through it, destroying it and pushing away the other blades. He smirks and
warns Kenta of his imminent knock out, but Kenta makes his Flame Sagittario spin
with an angle so it only touches the borders of the bridge, which Cyber had left
intact all throughout his course. Together, Cyber and Flame Sagittario jump onto
the waterfall on their way up to the GOAL. Out of nowhere, a lodge falls towards
them though. Kenta evokes his Flame Claw attack and tries to stop the lodge on
his own, but he fails. Sora comes to his rescue. However, a second lodge comes
to block them, and Sora, in the spur of the moment, finds a special strength in
himself that makes him call out his new attack: Avalanche Move! His Cyber drives
upwards in a flash of red light, and some bright 'cyber' cracks start appearing
on the whole beyblade. Everybody is awed by this special attack, but once again
Cyber just falls down to the ground weakly... Everybody laughs, while Kenta won
because Cyber did at least cut through the lodges. Kenta did see that Sora had a
very strange red aura around him, surely a sign of great power and
concentration. He will keep practicing, but meanwhile he has left quite a good
impression on Kenta, who tells Blader DJ about this kid in his interview. His
story is a source of great inspiration for all bladers.
30. The Bewitching Pisces (10/25/09 - Japan)
Ginga happily arrives to the arena where
the next part of the Battle Bladers tournament. The winner will get 10 000 more
Beypoints. Outside of the building, he meets his usual friends as well as Hikaru
and Hyouma. Madoka eventually arrives too and Ginga is unsettled by her for some
reason, but they end up taking a picnic and having fun. Benkei is sad that his 'Kyouya-san'
is not there, but he does not appear no matter how much he cries for him. The
friends then discuss the tournament, and Benkei sets to compare his Beypoints
with those of the others. He gets disappointed to realize that everybody else
has a higher number of Beypoints than him, even his idolized Kyouya. Meanwhile,
a helicopter from Dark Nebula descends to let Yuu and Tsubasa out into the
arena, followed by the two Gemios twins. Daidouji gave them a mission to
accomplish, which is surely to have the twins assist to the matches to study
their opponents. All they do during the battles is watch from their private
mezzanine. Before the tournament begins though, Ginga and his friends walk along
the streets and notice a caravan at some point, where a lot of people are
watching a show. It turns out a guy named Ryuutarou is telling people's fortune
while doing odd moves with his personal fan. A beyblader comes up to him and
complains about the fact that what he predicted did not happen at all. To settle
their argument, the blader wants to have a beybattle against him. Ryuutarou
jumps over him from his caravan and easily wins with his attacks inspired by the
Asian traditions. The guy simply runs away, almost satisfied. Two people go to
Ryuutarou and tell him that his predictions worked perfectly. As he passes
Ginga's group, he tells him that their time will come and that the prophecy he
saw for him will eventually happen. Unknown to Ginga, they meet again at the
tournament, where they face each other. Immediately, Ryuutarou makes his Thermal
Pisces create illusions and strident sounds that completely shock Ginga and even
paralize him. Ginga is too busy trying to come out of the illusion and
protecting his ears to make efficient attacks, so all his attempts to strike
Pisces fail as Ryuutarou's beyblade levitates and seems to distort itself to the
point where Storm Pegasis simply goes through it. After a while however, Ginga
gets fed up of all of this, and breaks through Ryuutarou's tricks with a new
attack called 'Full Power'. Even though he lost, Ryuutarou smirks, as if he knew
Ginga was going to win, as he predicted.
31. The Gemios Twins (11/01/09 - Japan)
Ginga meets his friends at the arena and gets surprised when they tell him that they have matches today. Hyouma, Kyouya and Hikaru leave to get to the main stadium area, but Benkei, Madoka, Kenta and Ginga stay to further talk. Soon, they realize they are late for their match, so they hurry. Benkei runs into Yuu right as the latter was coming out of a hall on the side, easily knocking him down to the ground.
Both apologize, and the beybladers eventually recognize Yuu and ask him why he
is there. Of course, he wants to compete in the tournament. Behind him appears
Tsubasa. At first, Ginga greets him warmly, but he soon knows that something is
wrong due to his complete lack of reaction. To answer his questions, Yuu tells
Ginga that Tsubasa has now joined Dark Nebula. Knowing this organization's dark
schemes, Ginga obviously wonders why his recent friend would join his enemies.
Tsubasa's response is, basically, to turn his back to him and walk away, dryly
telling Yuu to follow him already. The tournament then begins: Tsubasa faces
Benkei; Yuu, a random beyblader; Hikaru, Kyouya; and Kenta, Dan & Reiki. Yuu
gets bored and his opponent's beyblade stops spinning long before his Flame
Libra does. Blader DJ and everybody else in the audience did not even notice
that he had won until after Benkei lost to Tsubasa's attacks, his Dark Bull
digging into the stadium floor because of Earth Aquila's power. Kyouya also
succeeds in surpassing Hikaru's Infinity Wave, even though both their attacks
were equal at first. Hikaru was upset that she lost, but Kyouya made a quiet
remark about that battle being fun, which made her smile slightly. On his side
of the stadium though, Kenta has difficulty beating the two Gemios twins. Dan
and Reiki got their new Killer Gemios DF145FS from Daidouji's Beytransforming
machine and they worked hard to improve after they were defeated by Kyouya when
the group of friends infiltrated the Dark Nebula Castle. Throughout the battle,
Reiki and Dan work together, Reiki guessing what techniques to use and Dan
actually agreeing or disagreeing with him. In the end, although their fire and
ice attacks shock Kenta in his play, he manages to set a strategy where he gets
both of the twins to begin an argument because he introduces his attack vaguely
or differently. Since they have no real idea what Kenta wants to do next, they
do not know how to counter his attack, therefore both Dan's and Reiki's opinions
could be right, but neither of them wants to admit the other can be right at
that moment. Kenta uses that distraction to finish them. The Gemios Twins tell
him they will come back for revenge, and hurriedly flee from the stadium, to
Kenta's surprise. At the end of all the battles, Yuu looks around for Tsubasa
and sees him at the top of the arena, looking at the beybladers with a small
smile. This intrigues Yuu as to Tsubasa's intentions, but he does go to meet him
and they leave to prepare for Daidouji's next plan.
32. The Storm Battle Royale (11/08/09 - Japan)
Only six beybladers are left standing for
the next round of the Battle Bladers tournament: Ginga, Kenta, Kyouya, Hyouma,
Yuu and Tsubasa. Kenta is slightly nervous about the upcoming battle, but Benkei
tells him to cheer up, since they will have fun. Out of nowhere, Yuu runs to
Kenta and hugs him, wishing him good luck. His action surprises Kenta. While
Ginga and his friends all get prepared in their room and that Tsubasa cleans his
beyblade with Yuu in theirs, Blader DJ receives an important letter that says
that the battles to come will in fact be turned into a Battle Royale, which
consists of all the bladers fighting each other at the same time, in only one
stadium. This news shocks everybody, but Ginga is still as overjoyed as ever at
the idea of them beating Yuu and Tsubasa, and having fun beyblading. However,
his joy falters when both Kyouya, Kenta and Hyouma decide that they will be
fighting independently for the title of champion. Still, he finds that cool
anyway. During the match, Yuu and Tsubasa have difficulty getting along: each
one of them wants a chance to beat Ginga, but they also refuse to let the other
win too much. Kyouya immediately starts the battle by summoning his three
tornadoes. The first beyblade to be knocked out is Hyouma's by Tsubasa, which
shocks Ginga. Yuu also confuses Kenta a lot: he acts so kindly and happily all
the time and he even helped Kenta on the Survival Island, yet his Flame Libra
strikes Flame Sagittario very hard, without mercy. It is Kyouya who comes to
Kenta's rescue, warning him to get his game together. They then fight Flame
Libra with their Rock Leone and Flame Sagittario. Meanwhile, Ginga and Tsubasa
battle fiercely. Yuu gets fed up of being followed by the two beyblades, so he
uses his Sonic Wave attack to solidify the ground, effectively halting them.
Then, his Last Judgment Inferno comes and everybody's beyblade is paralyzed.
Tsubasa decides to escape the green waves and actually has Earth Aquila go back
down to attack Flame Libra head on. Ginga wants to stop the attack altogether
because he knows he was able to do the same thing with Ryuutarou's special
attack and illusions, so he uses his Full Power to break through the explosion.
As the smoke clears up, all three beyblades stopped spinning. Only Kenta and
Kyouya still survive, but the latter easily finishes Kenta off with a simple
attack as soon as they realize that they are the only two bladers left. He is
proud to have won. Unknown to them, a mysterious, masked person with a red coat
had been watching the whole match.
33. The Oath of Phoenix (11/15/09 - Japan)
Blader DJ awards the Beypoints to the
winners of the tournament: 1000 for Ginga, Tsubasa and Yuu; 3000 for Kenta; and
finally 10,000 for Kyouya. Ginga and Kenta congratulate Kyouya while Tsubasa and
Yuu find this victory slightly bitter. Meanwhile, Tetsuya had been watching the
whole match and also finds it unfair that Kyouya won everything, notably all the
Beypoints. He suddenly gets an idea: he will try to steal Ginga's Beypoints to
present to Dark Nebula to improve his reputation. Therefore, while Ginga is
training with the new Digital Power Launcher Madoka gave him to increase his
strength, Tetsuya comes up to them dressed with an extravagant suit and a blonde
wig. He introduces himself as Crab Mussolini. He says he would like to get their
cooperation for a Beyblade project he has, and he shows them a suitcase full of
old spinning tops of all kinds. Curious, Ginga hands him his Storm Pegasis and,
later, his Beypointer. Tetsuya had been expecting to leave at that instant, but
Ginga stops him before he can and asks for his Beypointer back. Loyal to
himself, Tetsuya suddenly tells them to look in the direction of the Bey Arena,
where he set up a few banners and crab balloons. While they are distracted,
Tetsuya exchanges Ginga's Beypointer for a new, empty one. He hands it back,
however, as Madoka is about to transfer the Beypoints to the Digital Power
Launcher, she realizes that there are no points in that Beypointer, that the
screen simply has a transparent sticker with numbers on it. That is when Tetsuya
flees while removing his wig. Eventually, they lose track of him when he changes
his running to a more 'crab-like' mode. He goes to the warehouse he was in
before and celebrates his victory to himself. Just as he is about to transfer
all of Ginga's points to his own Beypointer, the latter and Madoka arrive at the
warehouse and stop him. To save his face, he jumps on top of a suspended bar of
metal which lifts him up. Out of nowhere, however, a mysterious voice warns him
to hand over the stolen Beypointer. Since Tetsuya obviously refuses, the unknown
masked blader launches his beyblade at him. With ricochets, the red-cloaked
person catches both his blade and the Beypointer, while Tetsuya loses his
balance and falls to the ground. Ginga then learns that this new beyblader is
not a friend because he won't give him his Beypointer back without a fight. Both
of them get on top of the building, which essentially has no roof. The
mysterious blader, temporarily called Phoenix, has a powerful beyblade with a
metal tip which allows it to create some considerable sparks only by spinning on
the ground. All Ginga's attacks are useless against a blade that controls fire
and that therefore burns everything on its way, even metal. Phoenix finally
finishes the battle with an exploding attack that sends Storm Pegasis falling
through smoke and ashes. As if this loss was not enough for Ginga, Phoenix gets
his attention and then crushes his Beypointer with only a few fingers. This
display of mercilessness shocks both Ginga and Madoka, since that means that all
the Beypoints Ginga worked hard to accumulate are now really lost. Phoenix tells
him to improve, and to try to meet him again when he has, before jumping from
the roof and flying away with his odd red cloak. The whole situation provokes a
cry of anger from Ginga.
34. Shine, Virgo! (11/22/09 - Japan)
After his defeat to Phoenix, Ginga
struggles to accumulate a reasonable amount of Beypoints again, while Madoka
takes the bus home to observe the matches from in front of her computer.
Eventually, Ginga gains 15000 points. As he walks by a big television screen, he
notices that Hikaru is currently playing against a boy. At first, they all
believe that she will win as she unleashes her Infinity Wave attack on the
opposing beyblade, but the latter clears the water away from itself and sends
Wind Aquario out of the stadium. Everybody is then curious about that Teru
Saotome's identity, his power. The name rings a bell to Madoka. After his
Beyblade training in the mountains, Ginga walks beside a lake peacefully.
Suddenly, he hears and sees a ballerina dancing around with grace. Thinking he
was hallucinating, he rubs his eyes only to discover that it was Earth Virgo
which was doing all of this, meaning the beyblade has very strong balance. Teru
Saotome, whom he considers as a great challenge after what he saw, comes out of
the woods and tells him to look out for their upcoming match. The next day, in
the Challenge Match tournament, Ginga and Teru beat all their opponents and
eventually come face to face again. Meanwhile, Madoka researches "Teru
Saotome" on her Seesky/Seesall search engine, and she discovers that he was
indeed a good ballet dancer at one point. The match begins, and Ginga has a lot
of difficulty knocking around Teru's Earth Virgo due to its remarkable balance.
It is almost as if his Storm Pegasis were hitting a wall. The balance is easily
comparable to a ballerina's perfect stability. It is then that Teru tells Ginga
about his past as a ballet dancer. Ginga inquires why he became a blader if he
was really good at dancing. Sadly, during a show where he was particularly
giving his best performance, one of the studio lights broke and fell on him,
breaking his foot. Everybody in his crew was shocked by the accident. One girl
in particular was close to him and admired his abilities. She came to visit him
at the hospital while he was watching Ginga's beybattles. She saw how he was
fascinated by those Beyblades, so she came back one day with a special blade for
him: Earth Virgo. Ever since, the beystadium has become for him something
similar to the stage he used to dance on. Seeing Storm Pegasis unable to
sometimes even approach Earth Virgo, Madoka discovers on her computer that its
GB145 Track has two metal balls in it. The centrifugal force Earth Virgo makes
has Storm Pegasis simply slide to the side before even hitting it, so none of
Ginga's attacks work. Realizing this, Ginga eventually comes up with a new
special attack: Storm Bringer. Pegasis furiously circles Earth Virgo with his
Full Power attack's blue flames. The counter wind created by this destabilizes
Earth Virgo, which allows Ginga to hit it out of the stadium. Teru congratulates
him for winning, but Ginga insists that he wants to battle him again someday
because he was great to fight with. Meanwhile, on top of the Dark Nebula
building, Ryuuga senses that he will fight Ginga again soon, and he waits for
this opportunity to beat him again impatiently. He launches his Lightning L
Drago to the dark, electric clouds high above, and they disperse at its arrival,
clearing the sun's path.
35. Activate, L Drago (11/29/09 - Japan)
Benkei and several dozens of other
beybladers form a circle around a giant stadium dug into the ground. Just before
they prepare to launch their beyblades, they are interrupted by a Dark Nebula
helicopter that holds Ryuuga. He challenges everybody at the same time and wins,
all the beybladers lying defeated on the ground afterwards. Meanwhile, Tobio and
Ryuutarou win their matches and are about to face each other when Ryuuga enters
the arena and says he can take both of them at the same time. Ryuutarou's
illusions and Tobio's tornado attack do not disconcert Ryuuga and he easily
sends both of them to the ground with their beyblades at their feet. He goes to
nag them right before leaving the stadium. At the Dark Nebula building, Merci
detects the unwanted presence of Tsubasa in one of the sections. He infiltrates
a room using his Beypointer to undo the digital lock to a room where he learns
more about Ryuuga's Lightning L Drago. He watches the beybattle he and Ginga had
which the latter lost miserably, and that makes him more determined to defeat
Ryuuga. He goes to the building roof to try to deliver a message to his eagle
for Ginga, but Yuu and Daidouji stop him just in time. They finally have proof
that Tsubasa is a spy. All the bladers of Dark Nebula arrive and surround him,
including Tetsuya, whom Yuu had let out of his 'cell' in the building (he had
been so sad that he had gotten to a point where he could draw crabs on the walls
with his tears). Unsurprisingly, Tsubasa defeats everybody: the Kumade brothers
fall easily with the other rookies, and Dan and Reiki direct their attack
towards Tetsuya's Dark Cancer after falling for Tsubasa's tricks. At that
moment, the Dark Nebula helicopter comes up with Ryuuga, who is totally ready to
crush Tsubasa.
36. Torn Wings (12/06/09 - Japan)
Ryuuga and Tsubasa begin a beybattle during
which both struggle to keep the upperhand, and in the end it is Ryuuga's L Drago
which takes total control of the fight. However, out of nowhere, Phoenix shoots
his beyblade and stops the match, catching both his and Tsubasa's beyblade in
his hand. After quietly taunting Dark Nebula, he grabs Tsubasa by the waist and
flies away with him, which ticks Ryuuga off. Daidouji and Yuu are bothered by
the fact that they have never heard of this strong stranger, there is no data at
all on him. Meanwhile, in a desolate desert area, Ginga and Django, a cowboy,
are about to start a fight in the tournament. Tobio's Storm Capricorne comes to
interrupt the match though. Tobio makes Django run away and takes his place as
Ginga's opponent. The stadium before them has moving walls acting as obstacles.
The gimmick causes Ginga and his Pegasis to be confused and, for a while, Tobio
keeps literally 'shooting' his beyblade at Storm Pegasis without the latter
being able to do anything. The match is so intense and Tobio is so
controlling with his shootings and his bey's constant jumps that both him and
Ginga feel like they are in a western town with Ginga hiding from Tobio. In the
end, Ginga uses his Full Power attack again and wins the battle.
37. The Poisonous Escolpio (12/13/09 - Japan)
Kenta arrives to a city that is almost in
ruins. It is completely deserted. He sees its main stadium arena in a poor
state, seemingly abandoned; he wonders if he is at the right location. Suddenly,
a kid, Kazuki, and his sister confront him: they ask if he beyblades, and as he
nods he takes out his Beyblade and launcher and immediately shoots his blade.
Shocked, Kenta awkwardly takes his own equipment and easily defeats the kid's
beyblade with one small knock. Seeing her older brother angry at himself for
losing again, his sister also launches her bey at Kenta, who equally beats her.
Depressed to see themselves so bad at beyblading once again, the two siblings
hug each other while sobbing. Obviously saddened by their situation, Kenta asks
them to explain what has happened to them. Kazuki takes them back to what has
become their place: a car dump. A few other kids are also there, playing
Beyblade with a big bowl situated on top of a large tire. Everybody has little
joy on their face as Kazuki recalls what led them there for Kenta: one day,
while they were playing at the central arena in the city, a gang whose leader is
Busujima came and terrorized them: they destroyed their beyblades and decided
that the whole arena building was theirs and that whoever would venture close to
their space would have to face the consequences. Ever since, everybody tries to
stay as far away from it as possible, which leaves them with barely anything to
play. As Kazuki finishes his story, the bowl the kids were using as a stadium
fell from its tire, and not for the first time... A guy runs over to Kazuki, his
sister and Kenta to tell them that some boy is currently fighting Busujima and
that they have to come see it. The boy is Sora, and his Cyber has a lot of
difficulty even pushing Busujima's Rock Escolpio. One of Busujima's subordinates
gets tired of seeing the game and throws his bottle of juice onto Cyber Pegasis,
knocking it out of the stadium, on the gang's side. One of the underlings kicks
it on the other side. As the gang mocks and taunts them, Kazuki, Kenta and Yui
force Sora out of the arena, shyly laughing at the inconvenience. Busujima finds
something odd about the group though. Back at the vehicle dump, Sora explains
that he challenged Busujima to teach them a lesson about beyblading. Kenta
quickly stops him, and starts telling everybody about their goal: getting back
the arena to make it their stadium - no, everybody's stadium. The idea brings
happiness to all the kids. Together, they work hard on getting Sora to improve
so he can face Busujima again and beat him for them. At first though, he easily
gets defeated by Kazuki's Light Wheel beyblade, which frustrates him. As he
finally succeeds in improving, one of Busujima's underlings finishes his spying
and goes to report all he saw to the rest of the gang. Busujima interrupts their
laughs because he remembered where he had seen that Kenta kid: at the
television, when Blader DJ was interviewing him and that he talked about the
inspiration he got from Sora. The gang members are slightly scared for a moment,
however Busujima assures them that they are going to confront them and beat them
before they expect it. As a matter of fact, when Kazuki and his sister Yui go
into the city, they get trapped by the gang and easily get their beyblades
smashed again. They kidnap Yui and lock her in a glass cell while Kazuki goes
back to the dump to weakly tell the other kids what happened. This situation
makes Kenta and Sora know that it is the right time to battle Busujima now. The
group of kids is once again intercepted by Busujima's gang. Kenta and the other
kids decide to take them on while Sora goes to the arena to fight Busujima. As
he arrives, Sora is blinded by a sudden bright light, and he discovers that the
stadium has a lake of oil at its bottom. Busujima comes out of hiding and the
new battle begins. Like before, Busujima's Rock Escolpio seems to take all the
hits like an immovable object, and it succeeds in leading Sora's Cyber into the
oil, where it is mostly at Rock Escolpio's mercy. However, after hearing all of
Busujima's taunts, Sora concentrates and is finally able to withstand all the
strikes it gets from the opposing beyblade. The two beyblades however get into
the lake of oil, and the sparks caused by the constant impacts create a big fire
in the stadium, which makes Busujima go mad because he thinks that will give him
the upperhand. Ginga suddenly appears and saves both Kenta and Sora from their
unfair battles, like by extinguishing the fire with his Storm Pegasis's Storm
Bringer attack. Ginga lets Sora know that he had been doing very good
and he lets him finish the battle. All the compliments make Sora blush, but he
uses his Bey Spirit to defeat Busujima, who leaves while telling them they will
see him again one day. Now that everybody is safe, Ginga gives Sora the
recognition he deserves and makes his year by extending his fist towards Sora.
At first, the latter does not understand, however he quickly catches on and is
so happy to be able to push his own fist lightly into Ginga's, like friends. It
is indeed the first time they actually meet. This was also the first time Sora
actually won a beybattle without his beyblade dropping to the ground, not
spinning anymore. Instead, he had his own version of Ginga's Full Power.
Delighted with his day, Sora parts from Ginga and Kenta on the roads with a lot
of motivation to be even more like Ginga.
38. Run! Ginga (12/20/09 - Japan)
Kenta, Benkei, Hikaru and Hyouma all
accumulate thousands of Beypoints in matches, and Madoka prepares collations for
them, while Osamu, Akira and Takashi are depressed by their own low counts.
Ginga enters the room, and they learn that he lost all his Beypoints, so he is
below his friends in the rankings. Sad to hear this news that only Madoka seemed
to have known as well, they all look on Madoka's computer to see if there are
any small tournaments being held soon and nearby. Luckily, one is just about to
start in another area. Everybody except the OTA team runs towards the place to
make sure Ginga does not miss this opportunity. Unfortunately, Tsubasa
intercepts them and Ginga has to battle him. His friends offer to fight Tsubasa
instead so he can go to the tournament. Somewhat reluctantly, Ginga runs away to
catch the metro to go to the stadium. Meanwhile, Tsubasa more or less easily
defeats all other beybladers. He and Phoenix, who had sent him to challenge them
and Ginga, are about to leave, upset, when Ginga shows up and saves his friends.
They are all angry that he came back instead of going to beybattle and get more
points, however he knows that friends are more important than Beypoints, and
that is what Phoenix wanted. The latter appears in front of them and challenges
Ginga.
39. Clash! Phoenix VS Pegasis (12/27/09 -
Japan)
Ginga and Phoenix fight in the ruins of the
Beyblade colosseum. Throughout the match, Phoenix always seems to have the
upperhand and even sets the stadium on fire, however Ginga triumphs by showing
that he had learned from his previous battles, using his friend Tsubasa's
technique. Finally Ginga wins, and all his friends cheer for him. Unexpectedly,
Phoenix tells Ginga that they have to exchange Beypoints now, and Ginga is
shocked to see that he has now accumulated 95000 points, therefore he qualifies
for Battle Bladers now and he does not need to compete in other tournaments to
gain any more Beypoints. Phoenix jumps high and away from the arena, and Tsubasa
goes to meet up with Ginga, Benkei, Hyouma, Hikaru, Kenta and Madoka. At their
wariness around him, he reveals that he is an agent in disguise working for the
WBBA. He had to be under cover to try to get as much information as possible
about Dark Nebula, who really is an evil organization. From his experience, he
learned that Ryuuga and his L Drago are extremely powerful, and they all have to
attempt to stop him. Meanwhile, Daidouji and Yuu, who had found that there might
be something of interest in Hagane Mountain, go to Koma Village but find
nothing. Daidouji has to yell at Yuu to get him to stop petting the dog he
found, who happens to be Hokuto. It seems Daidouji had not seen Hokuto on his
first visit to the Koma Village a while ago, so Hokuto is able to keep an eye on
them.
40. GO! Battle Bladers! (01/10/10 - Japan)
The Battle Bladers tournament is finally
started: sixteen beybladers with the most Beypoints compete one against another
until only one winner is declared. Ginga and his friends are very excited. They
stop having fun when Daidouji makes a short speech to officially open the
tournament. The first match is Benkei Vs. Tobio: the latter's Storm Capricorne
constantly hits Benkei's Dark Bull, but the bigger blader wins after a clash of
both their beyblades. Daidouji barely seems upset or shocked by the results.
Next, Kenta fights Tetsuya. As the crab blader is named, some of the spectators
who remember the tricks he had tried to pull in his previous matches start
shouting at him. The match begins, and while Tetsuya tells how he trained in
some forest with a waterfall, a bear and some crocodiles, Kenta sends his
beyblade out of the stadium. Daidouji, who watches everything from his private
balcony, is embarrassed by Tetsuya's performance. Ryuutarou quickly defeats Teru.
The following battle is Yuu Vs. Ginga. The former happily smiles and
congratulates Kenta for his victory but gets completely ignored as Kenta runs
right past him to Ginga and his other friends. This really upsets Yuu since he
only wants to be friends with all of them. Ginga's friends wish him good luck
for his match, which vexes Yuu even more. During the fight, Yuu and Ginga both
struggle to get the upperhand, and Yuu eventually has his Flame Libra shoot rays
of laser that destroy some parts of the stadium floor. One ray goes straight
towards Storm Pegasis, but Ginga uses it to send it into the air to get
back down and strike harder. That only gets Yuu to make his attack bigger, with
the green aura. The ground also becomes rocky. The smoke clears, but Ginga's
Storm Pegasis is still spinning, to everybody's surprise. Madoka discovers that
Storm Pegasis created a sort of shield around itself before the impact. Both
players use their special attacks again, and Ginga is victorious. Yuu is
disappointed in himself for his defeat, but Ginga, as always, comes to shake his
hand and settle peace. Everybody in the audience applauds them. It bothers
Daidouji to see Yuu trying to befriend Ginga so much, but he has a secret
weapon: the mysterious Mizuchi. Meanwhile, Ryuuga trains in a cushioned room for
his upcoming match against Hikaru.
41. Fear of the Serpent (01/17/10 - Japan)
Kyouya easily beats Kumade Kumasuke, and
Tsubasa defeats Reiki in seconds. Ginga and his friends congratulate him and
talk about Hikaru and Hyouma's upcoming battles against Ryuuga and Mizuchi
respectively and they all seem confident. Suddenly, Hyouma feels that somebody
is staring at him, but also like some danger is lurking, ready to bite. He does
not have time to see that it was Mizuchi who was spying on him. Hyouma goes to
his match, and this odd individual that is Mizuchi stands in front of him, on
the other side of the stadium. He reveals his beyblade as well as his team, Dark
Nebula, but he simply smirks, snickers, and continues to look downwards, his
back hunched forward. During the fight, Hyouma struggles to make any effect on
Mizuchi's Poison Serpent. Mizuchi still looks down and swings his body left and
right, laughing, while Hyouma uses all his special attacks. Whatever Hyouma
attempts, it seems Mizuchi is trapping him by effortlessly retaliating with both
strong attack and defense. Kids in the audience start complaining about the
match and realize that Hyouma is not as strong as they thought. In fact, they
are very bored with the lack of action in the game. Hyouma's friends understand
that there is something really wrong and strange about the match, like some sort
of bad aura. All the pressure on Hyouma and his apparent inability to
strike Mizuchi's Poison Serpent effectively makes Hyouma go slightly insane,
which eventually leads him to his defeat as Mizuchi uses his special attack, a
devastating Serpent Venom Genocide. Clay Aries is sent in several pieces on the
ground next to Hyouma, who collapses to his knees and yells out and cries,
afraid and shocked at the battle. Ginga and the others run to his side, but
Hyouma pushes Ginga back, not wanting to confront them or get their help after
his shattering loss. This only infuriates Ginga and strengthens his
determination to overthrow Ryuuga and Dark Nebula forever. Then, it is Hikaru's
turn to battle. As soon as she stands in front of Ryuuga, she starts shaking
from his dark aura and intense stare and smirk. She shakily struggles to take
her launcher and bey. The fight begins, however Ryuuga does not even mess with
her: he uses his strongest special attack and sends a beam right towards her,
which destroys a huge part of the stadium and makes a hole in it. Her Aquario is
not destroyed, but she fainted and looks hurt. Ginga swears to defeat Ryuuga
even more, sick of his inconsiderate and cruel actions.
42. Sanction of the Dragon (01/24/10 - Japan)
Ginga and his friends try to focus after
the two previous beybattles. Obviously they still thrive to beat Ryuuga for
good, however they always remember to blade with their heart. The next matches
are going to be: Kenta VS Benkei; Mizuchi VS Ginga; Ryuutarou VS Tsubasa; Ryuuga
VS Kyouya. They are all quite optimistic, yet realistic too. Meanwhile, Yuu
tries to talk to Daidouji about his loss, Dark Nebula's evil ambitions, etc. He
remembers how he finally got accepted by Ginga and the others, and he might like
to get to know them better... Daidouji does not want to hear about that though,
and Mizuchi, carrying Yuu, and him move to watch Ryuuga's practice battles.
Mizuchi throws Yuu to the floor of the watching platform. Ryuuga totally
destroys the three Kumade Brothers, after having thrown Reiji and Dan into
walls. Next, even though Tetsuya attempts to stop Tobio from fighting Ryuuga
because he knows what their fate will be, he gets no choice and joins the battle
with Tobio. Both of them get knocked out. The Beyblades that lose to Lightning L
Drago seem to fade in colour. Ryuutarou, like Yuu, also questions the necessity
of such battles. Daidouji knows they lost their matches anyway. Yuu wants the
fights to stop, but that only provokes Daidouji into sending Mizuchi against
him. Mizuchi who supposedly embraces all of Dark Nebula's evil values. The
battle begins and Yuu immediately uses his sonic attack to transform the stadium
floor into hard rocks, but Poison Serpent has no problem sliding on them anyway.
During the whole fight, all of Yuu's special attacks are useless and some even
get shattered before they truly form, not affecting Poison Serpent at all.
Mizuchi simply plays around with Yuu. At some point, the latter realises that
his attacks do not work because his Flame Libra has kept losing bits and pieces
of it from all the hits it took. Yuu starts crying at the atrocity of this, of
knowing that his bey is getting thoroughly destroyed and that he cannot do
anything to stop the match. As Mizuchi opens his real eyes, it is a sign of
ending. Yuu, who had fallen to his hands and knees, crying, notices that
somebody else is watching: Ryuuga. Seeing him, he extends his left hand in the
direction of the dragon beyblader in hopes of getting his help in this struggle,
but Ryuuga instantly turns his back to him and walks out, not interested in
watching the scene anymore. Yuu realises that everybody who is working with him,
who is supposed to be some sort of friend, has truly abandoned him. He is all
alone, and he has always been. Just before Mizuchi's final attack reaches his
Beyblade, Yuu decides to stand back up and give it his all in one last strike. A
blinding light is emitted from the impact, and the result is left in suspense.
At another location, Kyouya warns Tsubasa about his next battle: he tells him to
really fight with his heart, and that should help him win.
43. A Rigged Game (01/31/10 - Japan)
The light dissolves at the Dark Nebula
building: it turns out Yuu disappeared, leaving Mizuchi and Daidouji slightly
unpleased. Later, all the Battle Bladers who made the cut are reunited in the
arena to see what matches will follow. However, out of nowhere, Daidouji decides
to mix all of the bladers around on the tournament chart, and it seems to
everybody that he simply did it so Ryuuga and Mizuchi never fought themselves,
and that Ginga and Ryuuga could manage to be in the finals. Ginga is especially
angry at that trick Daidouji pulled, obviously thinking that there is unfair
treatment here. Now, this also means that Benkei and Kyouya have to face each
other. The former complains about that fact, but his idol, Kyouya, quickly calls
him off and says that they will both fight with their strongest, and that
whoever is best shall win. Benkei of course agrees, and as he prepares for the
match, he recalls the things Kyouya made him go through in the past, like when
he left the Face Hunters for Dark Nebula momentarily. Benkei is determined not
to be defeated by his ex-leader another time. The match begins and both give it
their all, even using stronger versions of their special attacks, but in the end
it is Kyouya's tornadoes that succeed. Even if he falls to his knees at the
result of the beybattle, Benkei is still very happy for Kyouya. Up in his VIP
seat, Daidouji tells Ryuutarou to prepare for his fight against Ginga in a tone
that suggests he better take the order seriously: he knows Ryuutarou was very
scared to battle the day before against Ryuuga and Mizuchi, and he detected some
defiance in the traditional beyblader at being part of such a cruel
organization. In a room, Ryuutarou uses old techniques of fortune telling to see
how his match will be. While it floated for a while, the petal quickly drowns
into the water. Sighing, Ryuutarou gets up to move to the arena. Both Ginga and
Ryuutarou have different reasons to fight, and they both know they have to
improve their strategies because this will be a stronger repeat of their
previous battle. Without wasting any time, Ryuutarou sends Ginga in a trance and
makes him hallucinate again. He burns and freezes Ginga, rendering him unable to
do much in the match. As he his opponent is trapped in an ice block, it seems
for an instant that Ryuutarou has won, however Ginga uses his Blader Spirit to
destroy the ice imprisoning him and he breaks away from Ryuutarou's
hallucinations with a powerful special attack. Even though he lost, Ryuutarou
now sees that the good bladers still stand a chance against Ryuuga, with Ginga.
Before he walks away, Ryuutarou tears his fan in two. After the match, Ginga and
his friends relax at the restaurant in the arena, when suddenly Yuu stumbles
into the building, losing consciousness.
44. Pinned Feelings (02/07/10 - Japan)
Yuu recovers from his devastating loss
against Mizuchi. Ginga and his friends surround him in their team room. When he
awakes, he strongly encourages Kenta, which he calls Kenji, to defeat Mizuchi
once and for all, and to avenge him. Kenta agrees, slightly shocked, and Yuu
hands him his broken Flame Libra for him to keep during the match. The beybattle
begins, and Mizuchi terrorizes Kenta from the very beginning. Throughout the
match, he keeps coming with hard hits that end up destabilizing even ES, Flame
Libra's Bottom, which Kenta had decided to use. Poison Serpent breaks all of
C145's claws, rendering Flame Sagittario almost completely useless. Bits
of the Wheel start flying away and Kenta is helpless, reduced to begging Mizuchi
to stop the fight just like Yuu did. Mizuchi traps Kenta in a living nightmare.
Suddenly, Yuu comes to Kenta's side to aid him in his battle and give him
encouraging words. All this talk on friendship and blader spirit quickly get to
Mizuchi: he starts clutching his head and screaming about those words being very
painful for him. His dark green aura appears, and he summons his special attack,
Serpent Genocide Venom, after having beaten Flame Sagittario recklessly from
side to side around the stadium. Even after Kenta's Beyblade has stopped
spinning, Poison Serpent keeps attacking it, demolishing it with mercy. Helpless
and weak, Kenta tries to recover his Flame Sagittario in the Beystadium, but he
collapses a few inches away from it. Yuu tries to help his friend even though he
is still not strong enough to move, however it is Ginga who comes to their
rescue: he launches his Storm Pegasis and stops Poison Serpent's vicious
assault. Of course, Mizuchi is not really intimidated by this, and swears to
Ginga that his time will come soon as well. Daidouji, in the audience, drinks to
that too. Kenta eventually comes back to consciousness and Yuu helps him get up
on his feet, supporting most of his weight. Despite his loss, the spectators
still cheer for Kenta.
45. Counterattacking Aquila (02/14/10 - Japan)
Tsubasa is about to face Ryuuga in the
tournament. He sits quietly in the beyblader room and analyzes his previous
battles against Ryuuga and what he knows about him in general. One thing is a
certainty for him: he really has to strike when Ryuuga uses his special attack.
On the way to the Beystadium, Kyouya once again gives him a piece of advice, but
Tsubasa reassures him that he is ready for Ryuuga. The latter gets confettis and
explosions on his arrival. Both beybladers step up to the stadium and the match
starts. Everybody in the arena is surprised that Tsubasa seems to purposely
evade all of Ryuuga's small attacks at the last minute. This strategy keeps
working for a while before the dragon blader decides to become serious: he
evokes his special, destructive attack, and as Tsubasa had planned, he also
makes Earth Aquila attack at the same moment. Shockwaves are sent throughout the
arena from the impact of the two blades. Earth Aquila still has stamina though,
compared to Lightning L Drago, which is an attack-type Beyblade. Therefore,
Tsubasa makes it strike L Drago repetitively and for an instant he appears to
win the match easily with a final attack, however Ryuuga becomes even more
intense and a dark aura comes around him. The counterattack blows Tsubasa away,
and the latter falls to his knees. Suddenly, he feels his energy starting to
leave his body and it hurts: it is as if Ryuuga is feeding off his soul. In a
last attack, Ryuuga utterly defeats Tsubasa, sending him to the ground, hair no
untied. Ginga runs to his unconscious friend's side, but can only glare at
Ryuuga again: their time will be in the last battle of the tournament. At the
same time, Yuu seems depressed and scared about the match, which shocks Kenta.
Yuu even had to leave the audience at some point.
46. The Extinguished Libra
(02/21/10 - Japan)
Daidouji summarizes the victories of Dark
Nebula in the last few days for himself while drinking orange juice. He only
sees power ahead of them as well. He throws his empty glass of juice to the
ground, shattering it in a sign of wealth. The next match is Mizuchi Vs. Ginga,
which angers Hyouma, who seems to have recovered from his defeat against Mizuchi.
After that, Kyouya will face Ryuuga, at Benkei's dismay. Even though Kyouya
shuts Benkei's encouragement up, he is not completely confident that he will
win, after observing how Tsubasa came out of his battle against Ryuuga. In
preparation for his match, Ginga shines up his Storm Pegasis, and reassures
Madoka, Kenta and Yuu, who all looked worried at him. Yuu decides to go get
himself and his friends some drinks at the vending machine, but he gets ambushed
by Daidouji and an army of Dark Nebula soldier bladers. Daidouji tells him that
he has to be punished for leaving the Dark Nebula organization, especially to
join the enemies right after. Kenta and Hyouma hear Yuu's scream as the soldiers
prepare to attack him, so they run to rescue him. They however arrive too late,
and walls come out of the normal walls to block their way, letting Dark Nebula
leave with a kidnapped Yuu. While watching the uneventful match, Madoka worries
about what Kenta and Hyouma plan to do: they will infiltrate the Dark Nebula
building to find and rescue Yuu. Hyouma and Kenta arrive in front of the
building and wonder at what store Yuu could be, but they are confident and will
simply look on all of them. The hall is big and empty, until they hear Merci's
warning that they should leave the building. They do not listen to it though,
and continue to run in search of Yuu. Merci reports this to Daidouji, who sends
the army of Dark Nebula soldiers to stop them. Hyouma's Clay Aries got repaired
somehow, so he launches it at them to counter their attack. However, since
Kenta's Flame Sagittario is still destroyed, he simply catches one of the
knocked out Light Wheel Beyblades and uses it to defeat the others. Eventually,
Hyouma tells Kenta to go look for Yuu while he beats those bladers. Kenta stops
running when he reaches another huge room, and Daidouji appears. He reveals his
dark intentions and Ryuuga's doings, and a new battle begins. Kenta has to use
the Light Wheel Beyblade he grabbed on the way, which instantly makes him lose,
his blade scratched as if a real wolf had attacked it. Then, Daidouji sends Dark
Wolf to attack Kenta directly, however Hyouma comes to his defense. Daidouji
keeps toying with him while he tells them how Yuu got beaten by his underlings.
As Daidouji invokes a special attack against Hyouma, Kenta finally takes out his
broken Flame Sagittario and, regardless of its condition, sends it into battle.
With the impact against Dark Wolf, even more pieces shatter from Flame
Sagittario, but Kenta is determined to do his best to save Yuu. Sadistically,
Daidouji, who noticed those breaks, makes his Dark Wolf continue to tear into
Flame Sagittario. To end the fight, Daidouji uses a new special attack that
completely knocks both Beyblades out. Just before Daidouji could hurt Kenta and
Hyouma further, Phoenix appears and stops the match, ending it with a new
challenge.
47. Hagane Ties (02/28/10 - Japan)
The battle between Phoenix and Daidouji
takes place while Ginga still struggles against Mizuchi. Both pairs often seem
dominated by the evil beybladers, such as when Wolf constantly beats Phoenix
from left to right and back, digging holes into the walls of the Dark Nebula
building. Daidouji also sends Phoenix and his beyblade in a black hole created
by Dark Wolf, but thinking about Kenta's encouraging words makes him notice that
a piece of Kenta's Flame Sagittario's Metal Wheel got stuck between the claws of
the Dark Metal Wheel. Phoenix uses that spot to strike and forcefully pushes the
piece of metal all the way into the Wheel, shattering Dark Wolf for the most
part. The vibrations caused by the impact of the battle makes the structure that
hung from the ceiling falls onto Daidouji, at least caging him. Shattered pieces
of the glassy object keep dropping, and one cuts through Phoenix's mask, which
descends to the ground in two pieces. Right then, Ginga arrives after his
victory to help his friends, however he stands in shock before Phoenix'
face.
48. The truth about light and darkness
(03/07/10 - Japan)
The man behind the mask is... Ryuusei,
Ginga's father! Father and son are happy to be reunited, but they are also sad
to have been kept away for so long, especially by the belief that Ryuusei had
died. After touching moments, they decide to go back to finding Yuu, who is in a
locked room with the other unconscious losers, such as Tetsuya and Tobio. He
hears his friends' seeking cries and he starts yelling too and punching the
door. They find him and Ryuusei holds him on his back all the way back to the
arena, where they meet Kyouya and Benkei. They all go to a room, where Ryuusei
spills what happened to him when Ryuuga and Daidouji crashed their village.
After his loss and the crumbling of the cave, Hokuto pulled him out from the
rocks, and the two stayed together at a shack while Ryuusei recovered. Moreover,
he explains the origins of Lightning L Drago and all the other Beyblades: a
meteor fell on the Earth one day, but that meteor was made of a special,
purple-glowing substance. All the civilisations quickly became obsessed by it,
and they immediately learned of its power. They decided to shape it into a
spinning top, and Egyptians and Romans, to name a few, took great advantage of
it to demolish all their opponents. The top was used to destroy cities, but it
was so powerful it could also cut through water like Moses did. Ryuusei mentions
how Storm Pegasis came to be as well: another gemstone was found, this one blue,
and it was discovered that it could rival with the all powerful Lightning L
Drago. It was the only spinning top able to seal away the devil blade. So all
beyblades descend from the mighty L Drago. Ginga and the others all consider
their beyblades thoughtfully. Kyouya snaps them out of their idea to play solely
for fun though: they still have to beat L Drago again so the world will be safe.
Meanwhile, in the Dark Nebula building, Daidouji succeeds in getting out from
under the fallen pieces of glass. Even if he lost, he just has a more intense
thirst to beat somebody. He weakly limps in the corridors of the building until
he finds Ryuuga walking in his direction. The latter had not been pleased to
see, from the arena, that the organisation's skyscraper was damaged. He really
wants to punish Daidouji for his failure, as he cannot stand being around
weaklings. Daidouji tries to fight back as Ryuuga launches his Beyblade at him,
but his Dark Wolf gets split in half easily, also sending Daidouji to the
ground. However, the punishment is not finished: the three dragons fall on
Daidouji, eating away his soul. His glasses slide to Ryuuga's feet, and the
latter does not hesitate to smash them to pieces.
49. Fierce Battle! Lion VS Dragon (03/14/10 -
Japan)
Kyouya is about to enter the arena. He
recalls the way he used to be, to beyblade just a few days ago, when he first
met Ginga: he just wanted to demolish other Beyblades, and he even joined Dark
Nebula to become stronger. It did help him take a grip on his strength, however
now the roles are totally reversed, and he now fights alongside Ginga in hopes
of overthrowing Ryuuga and Dark Nebula. He had his victories and his losses, but
Ginga truly showed him the right way to play. His friends meet him in the hall
to wish him good luck for the match. Kyouya reiterates that he wants to battle
Ginga again one day, and both gently hit each other's fist in a sign of
friendship. Just as Kyouya walks towards the stadium though, an explosion comes
from it and the dish is thrown several feet in the air. When the whole stadium
finally drops, it gets incrusted in the ground, which forms a new stadium out of
rock. Three purple dragons appear and roar, announcing Ryuuga's doing.
Fortunately Kyouya is fine, and he retaliates to this global attack by shoving
rocks around with his wind, which makes Ryuuga smirk. The rocks form a circle
and drop all around Ryuuga. The arena is ready, both players are set to start
the match. Kyouya eventually gains advantage by trapping the dragon under a
tornado ring of rocks, however L Drago changes mode and Ryuuga uses his special
attack. More dragons appear. Kyouya counters this attack with a bigger tornado.
One of Ryuuga's hits sends Kyouya flying towards the back wall, and the rebound
of his body brings him back to his original position, where he skillfully
remains on his feet, after Ginga's yell brought him back to an alert state. At
some point, both players stay on their guards, and Kyouya's sweat dripping on
the ground is suddenly the sign to start the battle again. Explosions happen
everytime the two Beyblades make impact, shaking everybody in the audience. The
explosions keep being more and more intense. L Drago knocks Rock Leone into a
wall and continues spinning the blade into it until Kyouya reacts by sending
both Beyblades back in the stadium. This angers Ryuuga even more, so he starts
attacking Rock Leone mercilessly, each time creating big explosions. Kyouya
smirks at the thought that he is getting on Ryuuga's nerves, and he begins
evading the other's attacks. Kyouya's friends get slightly worried about the new
intensity of the match. The Beyblades become more unstable, wobbling even. With
his Wide Ball Bottom though, Kyouya has an advantage, and goes for a vicious
hit. Ryuuga also joins in that attack, and both come to punches, both totally
drenched in sweat. After the shock, dark dragons emerge from the smoke, and they
go against Ryuuga, engulfing him in this dark aura. Now possessed, Ryuuga's eyes
glow red, his skin turns slightly darker, and his veins become a lot more
apparent, especially on his face. He also has a dual voice. Waves of dark energy
are sent all across the arena. Ribbons of dark purple smoke come from several
places on his face and his body. The whole transformation scares Kyouya
slightly. He still gives it his all in a final attack, which Ryuuga awaits
without trembling. Before the attack even reaches his Lightning L Drago, Ryuuga
invokes his own special technique and lightning bolts start being produced out
of his palms while the dark dragon is still connected to his soul. A sphere of
energy is formed between his two hands and it envelops his Beyblade. The three
usual dragons come to intercept Rock Leone's attack. In the end, it is Ryuuga
who wins. Within the smoke, Kyouya stands very immobile. As his friends hurry
down and that the smoke finally clears, they stand in complete horror and Madoka
shrieks while hiding her face: Kyouya's body is impaled by the raw energy of the
Dragon Emperor. He does not respond anymore; Benkei falls to his knees in
shock.
50. Final Battle of Rage! (03/21/10 - Japan)
Kyouya collapses after the dragon emperor
retracts into Ryuuga's possessed body. Benkei holds him up slightly while
crying, and everybody is shocked. Ginga tells them not to give up, however his
speech is interrupted by Ryuuga's malicious words: he says he enjoyed defeating
Kyouya, Tsubasa, etc. so thoroughly and taking away their soul in some cases.
This flabbergasts Ginga for a moment. Benkei wants to stop Ryuuga's mocking of
his dear friend by launching his beyblade at him; in response, Ryuuga sends him
straight into a wall with his Dark Bull stuck in the rock. Purple smoke comes
out of Ryuuga's mouth. Ginga takes out his Beyblade equipment to fight Ryuuga,
but his friends convince him to do it another time, with Benkei and Kyouya both
unconscious. Plus, Ryuuga is too possessed. Ryuuga scares everybody, including
Blader DJ, away and takes over the league, which Blader DJ officially announces
later on television. Ginga and his friends retire to a hotel room and they all
sit silently, each wondering about their situation. Ginga is determined though:
he will leave when his friends will all be asleep to fight Ryuuga again, on his
own. Coincidentally, Merci warns Ryuuga of Ginga's intentions while he is
simply sitting in Daidouji's chair, fully enjoying all the power he has. He
meets him in the destroyed arena and, after a few words, he makes a huge tower
erect itself from below the ground. At the top, there is only a big Beystadium
and two small platforms for both Beybladers to stand during the battle. Once
Ginga has steadied himself on it, the match begins. The wind from the impacts of
their blades destabilizes Ginga. He uses Shooting Star Attack, however L Drago
simply pushes him back up. Ginga goes for Full Power: for a moment he seems to
have the upperhand, yet that changes when Lightning L Drago switches modes. His
Storm Pegasis is sent crashing into a part of the stadium close to him, and the
platform he stands on cracks slightly. Ryuuga keeps loving his power and boasts
about the fact that he utterly defeated Ginga's friends: Tsubasa, Kyouya and
Hikaru. Ginga claims that he fights for his friends and that this is only more
reason to beat him. Both use intense attacks, and Lightning L Drago succeeds in
getting on top of Storm Pegasis, trapping it beneath. Ginga cannot do anything
to save his beyblade. Just when he thought it was the end, he hears his friends
call for him from atop one of the Dark Nebula buildings. Everybody has reunited
to encourage him in his fight. This new strength and help is accentuated by the
rising of the sun. A new turnout will happen: now, Ryuuga can only lose. Storm
Pegasis frees itself from underneath L Drago, and counterattacks it with a
powerful strike. Ryuuga uses his full power as well, however Ginga appears to
knock him around more. Next, Ryuuga is on his knees and the purple aura from L
Drago swallows him completely. He gets attacked from all sides by the three
dragons who enter his body and soul one after the other. His eyes start shining,
and a malevolent transformation takes place: his nose and mouth become slightly
longer, his eyes shine red, his clothes get torn. Ryuuga has become a dragon
mutant.
51. The Blader Spirit (03/28/10 - Japan)
Ryuuga's transformation is finished, but he
is not in control: he keeps struggling to get his body back, however the three
dragons always invade his being again. It drives him mad. Ryuusei explains the
dark power L Drago can give, but also its trap, now made obvious. Storm Pegasis
is the contrary of this beyblade. Ryuuga finally loses his battle, and the L
Drago avatar sends more waves of purple power to strengthen its blade. Both tops
smash at full force, sending shock waves that shatter the windows all around.
New, whiter dragons are produced from L Drago; for one body, there are three
heads and twelve arms. Ginga tries to strike Ryuuga, but his Storm Pegasis is
only sent up in the sky, and his opponent attacks shortly after; he does not
have time to use his Shooting Star Attack. A tornado of dark power hits Pegasis,
and swiftly moves towards Ginga. Everyone is left aghast before the event,
however Ginga is still alive after the attack. He actually does not have any
injury: the spirit of his three friends, Tsubasa, Hikaru and Kyouya, who were
all directly attacked by Ryuuga, had come to his rescue, blocking the impact of
his special move. They encourage Ginga with all their heart, and they 'fuse'
with Storm Pegasis, making it even stronger. While Ryuuga keeps screaming about
destruction and that people tell Ginga to use all his skills to defeat him now,
Ginga has another train of thoughts: he realises how much influence L Drago has
on Ryuuga, and how the latter is not even involved in the match at that moment.
He has a new goal: save Ryuuga. After making everybody understand why this is
important, Ginga and L Drago fight again with even more force than before. The
platform Ginga should have been standing on breaks away from the tower because
of all the vibrations. The two beyblades strike for their final attack, which
sends them up in the galaxy. Both cylinders of opposing energy wrestle, but
Storm Pegasis wins. The shock wave sends Ryuuga, now back to normal, falling to
the ground from the top of the tower, his Lightning L Drago cracked. A ball of
energy comes out of it, and all the different spirits are sent back to their
respective bodies. Ginga falls too, however Pegasis comes to his rescue, and
Ginga grabs Ryuuga's arm on the way, which surprises the dragon wielder. The sun
is back in the sky, and everyone congratulates Ginga. As the hero approaches his
beyblade to take it back in his hands, it starts disintegrating into sparks that
fade away upwards. At first Ginga is shocked and sad, but his friends' happiness
brings a smile to his face anyway. As soon as he can though, he tells his
father, proud of him, about it, and he learns that Pegasis just had to leave,
now that its deed is done. Perhaps it will return however. Now that everything
is good again, all celebrate their passion for Beyblade together.
