METAL FIGHT BEYBLADE DS

Beyblade is back, on Nintendo DS! This game only features the beyblades from the new series : Pegasis 105F, Bull 125SF, Sagittario 145S, Leone 145D, etc. Even Quetzalcoatl 90WF! Of course, customizations can be made and are surely strongly suggested. You can choose between various Wheel colours, like Pegasis' Starter version (blue) or the Booster version (black). All of this is done with the stylus.

 

 

 

The video game comes packed with an ORIGINAL RARE BEYBLADE and a BEYPOINT READER, hence the price. The latter is used to connect your Beypointer with the console so the game can adapt the play to the number of points you already have on the Beypointer/the 'experience' you gained. Points will most probably be transfered to your Beypointer once you have won some matches in the game. All beyblades and important characters from the manga can be chosen, or are at least seen during the game. There are four modes that you can play: 

STORY MODE
You play according to a given story and you battle other beybladers as you meet them. You walk through the city and you can go to a Bey Park, a Shop and a Building Area. This is for a single player. 

BATTLE COLOSSEUM
For single players who just want to compete against some of the game's beybladers. 
   

QUICK BATTLE
If two players want to battle each other, this is the mode they have to select. 

WI-FI BATTLE
For two players. 

 

Hudson Soft expects to sell 40 000 copies of Metal Fight Beyblade DS. The fact that the anime will start one or two weeks after the release will probably contribute a lot.
