Forward Shoot
LAUNCHING TECHNIQUES

Forward Shoot

This is a basic shooting form. You launch the blade with the shooter facing forwards. Bladers in the anime use this form, it is easy to mimic.

Note: Picture is just to show shooting form. When shooting, try to make sure your Beyblade is around 5 cm above the Stadium ground.

Side Shoot

Another basic shooting form. Launcher is held to the side so the rip cord goes from left to right. Use this method if you are not comfortable with the Forward Shoot. However, there is a limit to how much you can do with this launch because it's side ways. As a suggestion, use a grip shooter (e.g EZ grip, Customise grip) to help with holding the launcher correctly.

Note: Picture is just to show shooting form. When shooting, try to make sure your Beyblade is around 5 cm above the Stadium ground.

Straight Shoot

This is slightly more advanced. To do this, your left arm must be straight and should remain still as you launch. Use a proper grip shooter to help stabalise your arm. While you shoot, you must make sure your right arm moves inwards against your side.

Sliding Shoot

To do this technique, have your left arm bended at an angle, find an angle that is comfortable for you. Then, force your left arm forwards as you launch while your right hand goes backwards. Like the Straight Shoot, your right arm must be pulled in at the side.

Banking Shoot

The Banking shoot is about making the angle of your Beyblade's base the same as the Beystadium's floor. To do this, tilt the launcher slightly to make it parralel and do a Sliding Shoot if possible.

This shooting technique is good for attack type beyblades and the Heavy Metal System Beyblades which are harder to control e.g Dragoon MS Ultimate Version. The tilt helps to keep the Beyblade balanced so it doesn't hit the side and self-KO.

Note: Picture is just to show that an angle has been used, it is not an exact angle which should be used for this stadium.

Gattyaki

Aim is to knock your opponent's blade out of the stadium for a KO before both blades touch the stadium floor. While the count down is said, launch just before opponent says 'Rip' in 'Let it Rip' and 'Shoot' in 'Go Shoot'. Remaining blade must land in the stadium and still be spinning for it to count as a win.
